DEON announces the March-X 8-80X56 HM WA X "MAJESTA" with videos

The illuminated reticle on the Majesta is quite faint; it is definitely not daylight bright. I checked mine just now and did it in a darkened room. Mine definitely illuminates.

Are any members here running the MTR W2 reticle? This has the smallest center dot of all the Majestas.
1/16th at 40x. My question for you is this. SFP scope.
Those with this reticle, are you having problem seeing this center dot? Thank you!

How are your eyes?
Do you have problems with thin reticles?
I don't have any issues seeing my W1 but that is .1 and the W2 is .07
So 1/3 smaller dot.

Just as a comment here. This is an SFP riflescope. The size of the dot will remain constant throughout the zoom range. If you have no problem seeing it at 40X, you will have no problem at 80X. The size is actually the coverage the dot has relative to the image. But actual experience with the W2 is most valuable.

I saw that..and the reason for the question. Currently running a FCR1 on nightforce which is thin. No issues. They list at .016..but don't list the magnification. Whereas the March is listed at .02 at 40x.

I have the W1 but my buddy has the W2 and wanted it for the thinner dot. He was running a Kahles 1050 which I believe is a .8 dot so very close to the .7 Majesta and he loved it through Nationals and said it shot a lot like his Kahles reticle. Hope this helps a little.

How old is the buddy? Lol

early 40's. Personally as a 50yr old now I appreciate the W1 I'm running just so I can find my point of aim faster.

I run a NF FCR-1 on another rifle and don't find it a problem at all. (tactical)
I do prefer a floating dot for bench work.
I think you'd be more than happy with the W1
Not sure what your issue is with the W1
It's not going to be to big or cover anything.
I think as your eyes age and if your shooting a black target and if it's
darker conditions, the W2 might give you some issues and at $4000+
you don't want issues.
My 2 cents

Nightforce scope reticles sub tensions are at 40x for those numbers. (.016)

Welp...that settles it. The W2 also has a least cluttered dot. It was my preference. But the W1 is the second choice. I have fears of the small dot haunting me at the 4k mark. Sounds like the advice from people using these is to stay with the W1. This is for 300 and 600 benchwork only. It does sound small. Thats why I asked.
Thank you!

What is everyone using for rings on these beasts? Who has the Majesta Ultra Light matching rings in stock?

I personally use Burris XTR Signature rings tall and adjust my Majesta to be optically centered (or as near as possible) at 1000 yards using a 20MOA ramp and the Burris inserts.

The March Ultra Light rings are a product of Marchscopes UK and you can find out about them here:

I also noticed that March has the gray sunshade and the wide-angle eyepiece leather caps on their accessories list here:

Anyone tried these yet?
These remind me of the old Kelbly rings. Matched pairs.
