I have read and heard about that. “Investors” are buying properties and turning them into rentals. Some major players are dumping billions into the idea.Yep, and investors are buying 1/3 of the houses in N. Texas. These aren't small guys with some extra money. They are big multi million dollar outfits buying houses and squeezing homebuyers out of the market. I am a free market guy, but it is irritating to watch it happen. flip side is our house values age going straight up.
It’s not a new idea but it gained traction during COVID. My opinion? It’s going to end in the next big real estate collapse!
