What Is Your Every Day Carry Handgun?

"Carry" and what is in my vehicle are completely different this time of year. I keep a sig 228 or a sig 220 in the vehicle, depending upon the circumstances.
In this heat I am usually wearing shorts, and that is a problem for public places. I opt for a Seecamp, as five silvertips are better than nothing. You have to be pretty old to remember a Seecamp.

Kahr CW9 iwb and a 22mag NAA in a Desantis pocket holster always loaded with Speer but my personal testing is a soft point will probably give more reliable expansion. Also a Taurus TCP in an ankle holster which I don't have a pic of.

I carried a “Loud Knife”, as my Partners jokingly called my .22 Mag NAA, as a backup to my primary off duty Beretta 92FC.
After about 3 months of heckling, I brought it to a Training exercise for our Firearms Instructor’s Staff. I set a gallon jug with water at 9 feet and sent a 30 gr Hornady ballistic tip into it. The jug split along the front panel and some fragments of the bullet exited the back.
Poof, no more comments.
Should have kept that old girl.

interesting story I bet.

It changed how I attend a gun show now whether I am inside the venue or outside. also, reference to the situational awareness comment, never assume anything anymore.

For years a Walther PPK
Then my favorite a Smith & Wesson 38 Model 2 ( not 38 Special)
Now a Glock 42
The PPK served me well (stainless) but now just feels too heavy.
Still like that S&W but it’s in too nice shape and I just don’t want mark it up.

The speer opens up great but I have proven it clogs up after passing through 2 or 3 layers of denim and acts like a fmj. Those Hornady will open up regardless.

I always carry with factory ammo. One less thing for the lawyers to argue about if it gets used.
