Texas State LR Championship (Houston, TX)

Congrats to all the winners. If the wind was as described, very strong scores indeed. Nice job Jade and to the rest of the folks in TR class, way to make him earn it. A real nail-biter. Erik, congrats on the strong performance and a back-to-back win. Drew

What made the conditions so difficult was the inability to see the changes. No mirage until Sunday and even Sunday it was extremely hard to read.
One had to pick a flag and guess as best they could what was really going on. Most of the weekend I shot with 4.5-6.5 minutes on the rifle. Shooting Palma so it took more wind.
There was some world class shooting going on and I would put the winners up against the best in the world. Maybe because they are the best!

Excellent job by all the folks at Bayou.

Yeah, came off the line after a string with 7 minutes on 1 time.

We get to do it again next month now, Lapua Regional.

See y'all there if the creeks go down.

Those were some tough conditions and losing by only one point to Jade is a win in my book. He is a great shooter and a great guy! I look forward to Lapua regionals.

It was fun shooting with you all weekend Peter, I had a good time shooting with you for the team match on Friday also. You were hammering and i'm fully expecting a repeat performance from you next month for the Lapua Regional as well!........;):)

As always, it was a great match. The high chance of rain meant that the match could be cancelled at any time, so it was a nail biter after every string. Mark Walker had a bad first string but he kept gaining a point or two here and there to keep things interesting. The wind made it a challenge for sure, everyone that showed up last weekend learned something.

Congratulations to all the winners!
