Tack driver live results

Same here. Exceptionally ran match with great shooters. I dont think i seen or heard of one hiccup - not even a crossfire. It was like we have been there regular for years. ( first for me ). Just plain fun and good to see different disciplines come together as a whole and they had a blast. I think its a given that all are coming back. I know i will.

Thank you Jim Cline! You have great support from the club and put on an amazing event. Lunch was great, camping spots all over the place, just felt like home. Well done guys!
Had and absolute blast at this event. Shooters were relaxed but serious. The format was new and exciting. The target crew was swift and the scoring accurate. That 200 yd score target was quite a challenge at 300m coupled with those conditions.
We had really good turn out and I expect your event will grow rapidly in coming years. Count me in and I really recommend others come and try this event....you will have a blast!

Mr. Cline, thank you for a wonderful weekend. I had a great experience that I’ll never forget. Thank you Team Vaportrail for including me in this. Thanks to all the sponsors for helping make this happen. I try to learn at least one new thing every match I go to, this weekend has been information overload. It was interesting to see all the point blank guys’ setups with what looked like their whole reloading room right there in the pits as well as the sea of flags out on the range. Needless to say, my first benchrest competition under 600yds was eye opening. I’m not very good at introducing myself even though I talk to a lot of people. I met quite a few new guys and ran into some friends I’d met in the past and it was all wonderful. So thankful I was part of the first Tackdriver “family reunion” and I hope I can make it back again. Congrats to all the winners.

I considered a 6br but was concerned about keeping the tune razor sharp throughout the day, wasn't sure I knew how to do that but I think the accuracy is there, that's why I went with the ppc, have shot them for decades. Jason Walker showed the potential there. Larry Archer shot a 30 howitzer beside me told me he didn't think he could hang with the accuracy.

I would like to take a minute to thank the sponsors that made the Tack Driver possible.

So much for the short range guys not being able to keep up with the big guns

I would think 300 yards would still be considered short range. To make a good mix of it take it to 400-500 yards and you’ll see a different field in the top spots.
I’d definitely consider making the trip if it was stretched out a bit further. 500 yards would be a good intermediate range for both the short range guys and the long range guys. Just my opinion.

Not really. Those winners dont even own a gun thatll shoot 500 but the 1000yd guns shoot at 300. Its all about the tune.

Dusty,
I didn't realize you were at the Tack Driver, I was there also. I snagged that Winchester Diamond Trap Gun when I got home Sunday night...
