Yes Sir.... I shoot with Jeremiah twice a month, but he does have anI know of one shooter, Jeremiah Keefe, who shot a 6BR, but not with the usual fast twist high BC combination. He was shooting 68 grn Barts BT’s.
I have had several friends comment that 400 yards would probably be a better distance to meld the Short Range/Long Range crowd together, but I think, from seeing how Jim set the targets out way up on that Burm, that is simply as far as he could go.
Achilles Heel !!.....Jeff Gates on bench 2....LOL. And at 400 yards, Jeff
is tough to keep up with. Now Jeremiah set up a Tack Driver lite for
us this past July. Same targets and rules as the original TD but we shot
it at 400 yards. Conditions at Anderson Creek will keep you on your toes.
After some conversation we were allowed to use spotting scopes at the
bench to see our hits. With an NF 15-55 and a 7mm bullet, I had no
problem seeing hits except as the mirage went nuts, a hit in the red,
you thought you had one off target. I and others made a suggestion to
use the bright white UBR targets, but stayed with the original intent
of the Tack Driver for practicing for it.
Here's Jeremiah in the back and right with typical grin, and Jeff Gates
in front and left, with the cash, from our last 400 yard Deer match.
Note....These are the place winners in class. I think we had 26 shooters
for this last breezy match of the year.
