Tack Driver 4 LIVE RESULTS

THANK YOU to all the shooters and sponsors for making Tack Driver IV such a great match! We had 18 states and Canada represented at this event with 99 shooters making the trip. We had shooters from Montana to Maine in attendance. I will be posting an equipment list and full final results hopefully tomorrow. THANK YOU ALL! One tired match director JC!

This match was a lot of fun. Got to meet a lot people I have known for a while but never met. This is a really fun group. Not sure I have laughed so much at a match. I also learned a lot. I will definately be back next year to shoot. Think it will be a yearly thing for some of the Mt guys as well.

I
Thank you @jcline and all the sponsors for making this happen. This is BY FAR the most funnest (yes i said that) trip and match you could ever possibly attend.

The friends and memories you make here will last you a lifetime.

Special shout out to my tent city crew.....

@20PPC
@gcabrera
@JoeDuke
@WillyTP
@SGT. Slaughter
(Who did I forget?)

And of course Luna

View attachment 1490522@P1ZombieKiller your statement of making friends and memories that last a lifetime could be no more truer than with Lisa and I.
You can tell people what a great time it is but until they expierience it they truly have no Idea.
I think I saw more laughter at this match than any I have ever attended everyone having a fantastic time.
I'm sure next year will be bigger and better once the word gets out.
Many Thanks to @jcline for a great weekend with 0 problems from the target crew, and the scoring crew ran like a well oiled machine.
Wes the tent city wrecking crew will be back next year sharing more great times.

Thank you Jim for putting together this Super Match and run it like a clock.
The experience way surpassed all expectations, from how efficient the relays were run, the quality of the competition, all the services and help provided, and above all how friendly, down to earth and fun it was.
Thank you again Jim, and we will be back for TD5!

I was rolling along fairly well Saturday and felt good about my standings. Then Sunday came along and i shot a couple of train wrecks. Not real sure why but thats Orangeburg and also thats life. It dont always go the way we want but we keep going.
Thank you Jim Cline for a great match. See everyone at TD V.
Tent city will grow.

That looked like great shooting from the Texas guys this year!
Did Wes look level this morning, or we going to have another post-game show?

Marilyn and I have stopped at the Beau Rivage Hotel Casino in Biloxi for the night.

We sure had a good time. Got to see many of the shooters I have met at previous Tack Drivers, plus many new faces that I can now assign a name to.

I really like the Tack Driver Format, even though my group shooting really sucks.

The monumental happening will be the very first shooter to “stay clean” in the Score portion of the Match, shooting at a 200 yard target at over 330 yards, especially at a range like Orangeburg.

With the caliber of shooters we have, it can certainly be done. But two things would have to be in play for sure. First would be that swirling wind that the place is famous for would have to take a break. Second, enough overcast would have to be present so the shooters would actually be able to see what they were aiming at, and maybe even on occasion catch a glimpse of a bullet hole.

For about 75% of the time Saturday and Sunday, neither of those occurred.

When we were traveling last Wednesday, my wife commented on how beautiful the weather was going to be with the bright sunny sky’s. I reminded her that what was good for “vacationing” was not necessarily good for shooting.

Congratulations To Wayne Campbell and Derick Loflin for their wins in Group, Score, and the overall Grand Agg.

Thanks to Jim Cline and his entire crew for putting forth the effort to make an event such as this happen.

We will be back next year.

Man that was fun, and a challenge. Great meeting a lot of you, and looking forward to shipping stuff down and flying down for years to come. If anyone can spare a box of brass, I got powder heading for home I hear lol, thanks Alex.

Jim, you ran this thing like clockwork and worked your ass off. GREAT job!

Tom
