They would still be safe today. It's the same as blaming the gun. We never threw them at each other, that would take a special mentality.Lawn darts were safe back in the 70's and 80's...
threw at my sister,,missed,,you know what a burp gun is ?They would still be safe today. It's the same as blaming the gun. We never threw them at each other, that would take a special mentality.
No, but several of the neighbors made Polish cannons. Back when pop and beer cans had a pressed on bottom. They would cut out both ends of several cans, then duct tape them into a tube. Bottom can retained its bottom. Little hole in the side to squirt in lighter fluid and a match. They would shoot tennis balls in the air.threw at my sister,,missed,,you know what a burp gun is ?
Back on topic. Does this die actually say 9mm on it? I bought a set of Lee 7x57 dies many years back. The label and seating die were correct, however there was a 220 Swift sizing die mistakenly packed. That would have really raised hell with a 7x57 case!
Lee dies of today are not the same as years ago. I use all their pistol carbide dies with no issues. This is a good recommendation.Yeah 380 dies wont work for 9mm. I know 380 is often called a 9mm short but the case is differnt besides just shorter. I would agree your problem is with the die, and as long as you deal with that amazon dealer you will never get a decent set. I use lee carbide 9mm and have never had a problem, use the lee return form and you will be happy with the results.
Looks like its got a sharp entry edge. If it was me id put the lees in a junk drawer as a lesson learned and pick any other brand made but im sure lee will send you some better ones once they have a qc item detected. Those dies are junk ive never seen one shave a case like that. Hopefully you wont have any issues with the new set they are usually good at customer servc.
The thing with lee is they send out anything and let the customer do the qc. Works most of the time for most people then when a problem arises they actually fix it the best they can. Lee is a great company thats got a lot of people into reloading they just dont make anything suitable for anything i do.
You don't shoot 9mm.![]()
When i do load for a 9mm i have a dillon toolhead on a stand loaded with dillon dies. Id bet its been 20yrs since i used it though
Once that hole fills in with brass itll work fineHere is a nice polished Lee 9mm die, with a defect. Good luck with the 3th die.
