How many MOA off to the side did you shoot at the berm?
Ok thanks good informationI am having a hard time getting mine to miss a shot. it even picked up 3 shots fired at the berm to the right of my target at 600 yards to check the zero. It was pointed at my target.
thing just works great.
Thank You, looking forward to your full report of the results and how you then calculate the BC.
My calcs show 1160 at 1400 yds. Touch n go but will give it a try. 2.25 sec flight time!
Yeah that is going to be close. What are you shooting and what load?
I don't think I have left the Garmin on for longer than 30 minutes between shot string activity. Where di you get the 30 minute timeout? It's either not in the user manual or I missed it (quite possible!).The biggest challenge will be to get target set, tun on the Garmin and then make it back to the bench before 30 minutes timeout!
I set it on my desk and waited!I don't think I have left the Garmin on for longer than 30 minutes between shot string activity. Where di you get the 30 minute timeout? It's either not in the user manual or I missed it (quite possible!).
OK, personal test I like it. You would think that is something they would include in the manual. I'll time mine to assure your test is universal.I set it on my desk and waited!
If he cannot make it back to his shooting bench within the timeout it wouldn't make much difference would it?If it times out you can restart the previous session and continue.
As you determined in 30 minutes the screen says Radar Timeout, Radar disabled due to inactivity, with the options Rearm Radar or End Session. Wait another 30 minutes and the screen goes blank and unit shuts down.I set it on my desk and waited!

They could put an option in the settings for the timeout clock, that would be nice.
Update your unit to version 3.21 to avoid that.I missed a shot on my last trip to the range when it decided it wanted an OS update in the middle of a 5-shot string.
Ok thanks guys good informationTesoro I think your going to have to buy another Garmin they have one now that does down range BC.

Top notch unit. I couldn’t ask for a better unit. I have not dropped a single shot since I got it and I’ve fired a grand total of 1231 shots through it. My labradar dropped 1 out of every 15-20 shots. What’s everyone think of the garmin chronograph after using it for awhile?
