when my .243 is done I'm going to the 6GT. Just have to, kinda like always having a 6br.
No personal experience, but have read of multiple people dropping it due to less than stellar accuracy and really not feeding that great. Always seemed like a solution in search of a problem to me! I believe this cartridge will fade, just as quickly as it came to light. If you are having great results with this cartridge I would like to hear about it!

i had feeding issues with MDT mags and 6GT too. Another friend of mine also had the same issue. We tuned the feed lips and it works fine now.I have been shooting the 6GT for 2 seasons with very good results.
There were some who reported feeding issues, many seemed to be using MDT mags. I believe this is mostly shooters not understanding how to tune their magazines. I shoot MDT and AICS mags with no issues, but my mags are tuned. I had to tune mags for 6.5CM as well so the need to tune mags is not unique to the 6GT. It is a requirement of the AICS pattern mags in general.

As of late 2021 Alpha brass in 6mm dasher has been very good...takes pressures very well, shoots small groups. Primer pockets are still tight after 4 heavy reloads...I run the same loads as other dasher shooters, and some hotter, most at a grain above book max...and have experimented with 6.5 Staball and 2000MR where velocities reached 3133 fps for SMK 107 gr., 3098 fps for 110 gr SMK, and 3044 fps for 115 DTAC bullets. Over 1200 rds of normal and hot loads...never a blown primer or a loose primer pocket. So I purchased an additional 200 of their cases, as the first 300 have been really good they have been working fantastic for me... Alpha must have fixed the problem of earlier production cases. Just my experience with them, and would recommend them at this point in time.38.5 grains of H4350 is a mild load in any 6xc. Velocity was 3000fps with a 107 and is hardly a brass destroying load. If it was overpressure in Alpha brass, all 150 cases I fired would have more evidence of brass flow or rupture, but they don’t. When the same load is fired in new Norma or Petersen brass in the same rifle and barrel there are zero pressure signs. None. When fired, the base of Alpha cases expands .003”. When new Petersen or Norma is fired, the base expands .001-.0015”. How would any reasonable person not conclude the brass is the issue?
I spent a lot of time and money trying to get Alpha brass to work in my rifles. I was very excited for what I hoped would be American made Lapua quality 6xc factory brass. I implemented every suggestion Alpha offered up to me to remedy the problems, and it literally blew up in my face, twice. It has cost me twice the cost of the brass to repair my rifle.
I will never fire another piece of Alpha brass in any rifle I own. I’m simply sharing my experience with Alpha brass and folks can make their own decision whether they want to use it or not.
I'll be having a 6GT chambered up next month - my Alpha brass measures (20 random cases) measures from 1.7185 to 1.7205.anyone actually shooting a 6gt, how long is your brass ?
my lot is 1.715, but the reamer print is a lot longer, so i am asking.
my brass is normal ?
thanks
