6.5x47, doesn’t mean the dies will work. It’s much shorter. How would you bump the shoulder?ok what’s the parent cartridge?
ok got ya thanks.6.5x47, doesn’t mean the dies will work. It’s much shorter. How would you bump the shoulder?
I see where you got mixed up though. It’s not like a 6x47 Lapua. It’s shorter with a 35° shoulder.
As far as I'm aware it's not twice the price? The biggest issue here (UK) is rebarrelling is a major cost and a real hassle. A barrel that lasts significantly longer is a big selling point.Don't waste your money on a 400MODBB, just get 2 good barrels.
I'd love to be paying those prices. A regular blank rebarrel here will set you back £1,000. They don't call it rip-off Britain for nothing! It's $800 for a 40MODBB blank. Regular blanks are just $400-450.
Whilst we're in Europe we're not in the EU and the red tape would be horrendous and not any cheaper. If you change cartridge you also have to get a "variation" to your firearms licence, more cost and time. Don't ever change your system in the US!Can you ship it to another country, such as Italy, in the EU to have the work done?
That's right, I forgot you left the EUWhilst we're in Europe we're not in the EU and the red tape would be horrendous and not any cheaper. If you change cartridge you also have to get a "variation" to your firearms licence, more cost and time. Don't ever change your system in the US!
Given half a chance I'd be over there and help support the cause. If you lose the battle we've had it. We're close to being the most restricted country in the world. Strangely though we can't have a single shot pistol in .22 short but can have a 930 JM Pro with slugs. It makes no senseThat's right, I forgot you left the EU
It's a constant battle over here to keep the gun control bastards off our backs.
Someone mentioned it's going to be this autumn/fall.Anyone seen any of the 6mm GT lapua brass yet??
Thanks. I thot it was going to be last fall. Keep waiting I guess. I been using the GAP brassSomeone mentioned it's going to be this autumn/fall.
It was going to be last year, seems to have been delayed. I don't mind personally as I've spent my money on a new rifle so some time to catch up is welcome.Thanks. I thot it was going to be last fall. Keep waiting I guess. I been using the GAP brass
That GAP brass is okay and was able to get about 8 firings until the webbing at base grew enough so that it would not chamber any longer, even tried the EC mandrel body. Switched over to Alpha and have been very happy with the results and not waiting on Lapua any longer.Thanks. I thot it was going to be last fall. Keep waiting I guess. I been using the GAP brass
