62-grain ELD-VT with 9 Twist

Mike im hoping the altitude were the rockchucks live may help slightly in your endeavor, when I was in Colorado I got away with a bit more as far as twist and speed went with the thinner air density. Now in the south at a lot lower altitude and heavier air density I have to tailor my loads a bit to get my guns ready for ground hogs.
Frank, thanks for taking the time to measure and snap some pictures. That helps me in my motivational advance towards building my next 22-250AI. Looking forward to your shooting experiences with these.

I have read many times that that new 62 is pretty picky. My 8 twist creedmoor wouldn’t shoot it good at all.
Keep in mind that these 62 vt's were specifically designed for the 22 ARC which is has a SAMMI approved twist rate of 1 in 7 twist. The new 69 vt's are meant for 1:8. Give those a try

So I know I'm probably WAY off base on these bullets, but I also was interested in them.

My thoughts have been a bit different from the original question though. Is this the "Ask questions about the 62-grain ELD-VT thread" or should I ask my question in another thread?
