Never seen a case where it was proportional yet. Evidence it may "correlate", but I'm a ways out from being sure of that. Some brass does, like lapua 6br, but still has outliers within that. And some brass doesn't really at all.So what I am seeing is that the weight difference in the cases is not proportional to volume.
Is that China?I have bad news View attachment 1330387
I'm not improving it at first, but there's a couple reasons. Lapua and ADG both make brass. The thought was similar to what we see with the BRA....you can run 103s 3050 with either 33 grains of powder or 31 grains, guess which is agging better. This may or may not be too small? I don't know yet, but the brass I formed in my first box rivals lapua 6br for volume consistency. The thought was also about a potential use for light gun...but forming brass at 2850 with 197s is pretty much kicking my ass lol....so we'll have to see about that.Alex,Tom. What was the thought process to go to the 30-65prc? Brass availability?? And are you hoping to improve it or run it stright?? Thanks. Kevin Lepine

Here's box 1, heaviest end of the lot. I lost case 50 screwing around, so tossed a wsm case in there for comparison.
