That's what I'm hoping to be able to chart. I'm using the quick tune method in different conditions. It is not a quick process to collect and compile necessary dope but it is fun and if I live long enough maybe ill get it figured out.

I see nothing wrong with providing a service, no one is forced to attend.
When I played competitive pool I would always ask pros and semi pro players for some table time and gladly paid a fee.
(That's how you get better!)

There are many shooting schools as well as guided hunting trips that are very expensive.
How many members have paid for a fishing or hunting trip?
And now are questioning this gentleman.

Excellent point I've been on 12 Elk hunts. The first 4 were unguided needless to say I will not go again without a guide.

and the cost of bullets, powder, and other components, as well as barrel life... and time... and pulling out your hair. It seems like a person would save a lot of reloading money, while at the same time, LEARN SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT.

How can you put a price on a Good Education.

Ok this is what I want to see! Rifles that with five and ten shots at 1000 yard that will shoot under two inches for five and under four inches for ten. Now shoot those rifles at 100 yards so we can see what these 100 yard or for that matter 200 yard groups look like.

Hey Joe,
I'd like to see those rifles as well. I've seen some of those rifles here at the range but never had any reason to shoot them at 100 yds.barrel life. I know some that possess rifles capable of shooting groups you're talking about I will ask them if they have leftover ammo if we could Fire a few shots at a hundred just to see as I know they do not tune at a hundred they tune at thousand only.
I test wit 3 shots after that I feel like conditions and tracking are the biggest contributors to error.
I was hoping to find some other shooters also using terminal velocity in their load development so we could compare notes but it appears not many have or at least they haven't come forward.
I'm hoping to make it up for the world open next year we are having or combine 600 -1000 yard championship in October maybe you can make it down?

The skepticism is coming from two places. One is that not every rifle is capable of 3” at 1000. Especially the ones being used for PRS. The other is that repeatably getting to 3” in 10 shots is a *remarkable* achievement. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.

1) holds1.5 moa at 1k
2) holds1.0 moa at.1k
3) holds0.5 moa at 1k
Which one would you like to shoot in a match?

That thread is awesome you get some solid input. People talking about paying you to do load development........ hahahaha you can’t buy that knowledge at the store. I enjoy every bit of everything you “teach” me when we develop a load.

I would of agreed with you a year ago but not now. Every PRS rifle I've worked with so far has made the cut. Understand they have all been more of custom rifles most MPA and I would actually use one in BR competition heck I might just do that for fun!! Excellent rifles in my opinion.
Second yes it does take more than 10 shots sometimes. In 10 shots I can tell you weather or not you are headed in the right direction though for sure.

Well, if someone has their setup to standards and reloading to that of what you suggest it wouldn't be a stretch to assume they should be able to load develop.. I would suggest all your top shooter's have one thing in common. Can you guess what this is? Here is a small hint, it is not paying someone else to tune for them..
