I have a decent bubble, I've checked for accuracy, super glued to a piece of key stock, the key stock has a magnet attached. Set this on one of the scope bases or bolt rails. I level the rifle side to side, I've used another small level on the elevation turret cap and also used the Newlon caps with the bubble. I set the scope to level and tighten it down, watching both bubbles. I will then look down range at a string with an attached plum bob, check the scope bubble, check the verticle hair to the string. The bubble on the scope almost keeps me honest, especially if I'm shooting off hand. I think it helps in holding the gun consistantly.
