USPS Delivery Issues and Delays

This is what Trump said back in 2020. What's the post office doing delivering Amazon packages when they can't handle their own? I think Amazon pays them the cost of a stamp to deliver packages.

YET, the price to mail a letter keeps going up, while service becomes poorer
 
Had a package lost for 5 weeks. It would show occasional movement in their tracking system, then sit dead for 7-10 days multiple times. Finally submitted a lost package claim and it arrived 2 days later. Never received a single word about the claim. Until today. A satisfaction survey.

Really?

Let's just say, I was honest in my feedback.

I'm sure that survey will get lost.

I don't buy anything from Amazon because of their practices. Also, if you buy from Ebay and the package is coming from NJ or NY, you are probably buying from someone who simply orders it from Amazon after you buy it from them (at a profit to them) and has it shipped free to your address.
 
Ordered a package of screws (Amazon; easier then trying to fin bulk screws locally.) haven't received them yet, but they're close (I think.) Here's the detailed tracking:

Honestly, I'd have to wonder if you've ever had any USPS delivery then.
I work in a shipping department these days. The condition of some of the packages we get from UPS is astonishing. Look like they fell out of the truck at highway speeds. Needless to say, the contents are beyond use as well. Shipper has to re-send. I've no idea who pays for it, I just know my employer does not.

Mailed payment to member Agg Wrecker for some brass Jan 19th. He confirmed it arrived at his PO and was scheduled to be delivered Jan 24th (has informed delivery). Has been almost 3 weeks and still hasn't shown up. Working on an alternate solution now that doesn't involve USPS. :mad:
 
Two orders in the last month have been a week or two late. One arrived earlier this week was 1 week late. One says out for delivery today is 2 weeks late.

But, I ordered an item off of Amazon last Friday only because it could be delivered the next day and I could pay extra for it to be delivered between 4am and 8am. I paid the extra. Item never arrived. Got an email later in the day that said it would be Monday. To say I was pissed was an understatement. I had to go burn a bunch of gas trying to find the item locally. Finally did. Canceled the order and gave them an earful. It's not just USPS.

I'm switching to FedEx or UPS for anything that cannot be picked up at home. Last rifle I shipped USPS priority was in transit 12 days. It eventually arrived but I don't need that kind of stress. Fedex is a few bucks more, but they usually arrive early and they sell nice sleeved boxes for $10, almost perfect for shipping a well wrapped/protected rifle. Doesn't hurt the assistant manager at the local FedEx is a shooter, we talk guns when I drop one off. These days; USPS is like going to the DMV.

In that order. The VA first. Why there is one homeless veteran in this country mystifies me. No problem sending millions or billions to Peru, Somalia, or every other hole on this planet. 400,000 employees and they can’t get even get appointments scheduled correctly.

u got that right lost hearing aid all most one month to get in to have new one formed
