Teslong Bore Scope

I think it could work the other way. People could finally realize their barrels shoot dirty.
And after using bore-scopes over the life of several barrels, people may also see that running over fouling (primarily carbon layer) can greatly hinder barrel life. Which is also why I have being saying for years, a bore-scope can pay for itself in one barrel, and that cleaning a barrel without a bore-scope is only guessing (same for cleaners and procedures).

I just bought the Teslong with the WiFi adapter and for the money it is a deal The picture is clear and what's nice is multiple people can view at the picture at the same time. I had to go to their website to find info on which app to down load but that was a minor issue.

I have been mortified since receiving my Teslong scope. Barrels are all horrible, dirty fouled, copper plated, coal filled tubes.
On the otherhand after looking thru a top line barrel Ive had for over 5 years. This barrel copper fouled from the first shot and never improved what ever I did. It would start to shoot after about 10-15 foulers. Scoping even showed what looked like a "fissure" Running along one of the grooves. I emailed them, the barrel maker, and asked if they would look at it and tell me if I'd abused it or what? They called me after they received it and sent me a new barrel !!!! I certainly will send all my orders to these folks in the future. Company is top line in reputation and in customer service.
Ive had the pleasure of running endoscopes in dogs ears, nose, throats and other areas not needing description. I have to say that the little Teslong image quality is excellent compared to the 10-12 year old vet medical endoscope. AND, just plug it in and put the tip where you want to see. No 5 minute protocol just to get an image. On the negative side I think the Teslong needs to be viewed as perhaps consumable. I dont think its going to be as durable as the 20K$ unit, but you can buy a lot of them at that price.
Yes ,Id recommend one it you can stand the stress.

Let's play Teslong advertising slogans......

Striking fear in subpar barrel makers since 2019

A picture is worth a thousand words

Talk the talk, walk the walk

To boldly go where no man has gone before

The truth hurts

Mysteries unraveled

Barrel makers fear us

Only the 17's are safe

We know clean

Or “how i wish teslong had not made an affordable borescope because the barrels are not”

barrelmakers have suspected we have gotten a look inside their barrels for a long time. Theyre not going to re-tool over a $50 borescope. If you can gauge a barrel’s performance with it they may hire you. Same as last year- the only thing that matters is the equipment lists

It has saved me accepting a new rifle that had bad button rifling chater marks in it, or the damage may have been caused at some other step in the process. I used the bore scope to have a look at what a new rifle should look like and this one was not it. I sent an email to the importer/manufacturer and they agreed it was not of acceptable quality. IMHO I think the bore scope has paid for itself in just this very first acceptance test.

Teslong: why didn't I sell my Hawkeye before these came on the market.

Teslong: making the sale of used Hawkeye's an exercise in humility and futility.

Teslong: cost of a Yugo; quality of a Benz.

I was co owner of a Hawkeye kit with angled eyepiece and the deluxe aluminum box. We used it for three years before deciding we really did not need it. My buddy took advantage of me during a medical emergency that required mind altering drugs to get better.:D
I took my $350. and bought loading supplies. We sold it to someone on this site.

I got mine today, took about a week to arrive. I got the apple iOS WiFi model. Linked it to my iPad. I think it’s a deal for $75

also this is my first borescope so I’ll be interesting learning what to look for.
