Savage LRPV Parts

I am looking for some information on the Savage LRPV. I recently picked up an HS stock for this model(single shot-no mag well).
My question is, what factory part is used for a sled or follower and the factory gun to guide the bullet into the chamber. I shoot in production class so it is necessary to find the actual savage part or parts.
The parts diagrams I've checked so far do not show the parts I need for this model.
Savage wants a serial number to look this up which I do not have since I will be putting a different barreled(VLP)action in the stock.

I think those were single shot target actions friend. I don’t believe they had a follower of any kind it was milled in the action I want to say. I have one I can look when I get home

The single shot stock you have was made for a solid bottom single shot action. I'm not aware of any Savage factory made single shot adapter for a repeater action. There are aftermarket ones as I'm sure you are aware. Savage repeating rifles had a magazine spring and follower which worked well for feeding. You may have to cut out a magazine well or trade the stock off for one with a blind mag well and use the factory follower and spring. That also involves a magazine housing, of which they made a couple of, depending on how the action was machined.

My LRPV is single shot solid bottom to the action but I have had Savage BVSS that would load from the top and bought another expecting the same thing and it was a jerry Rigged from the factory single shot with an internal mag that you could not depress and load it was the sorriest excuse of a leftover parts bin deal you have ever seen--It looked like you could load it but was frozen so just the lips to lay a round on and hope it would load--I yanked all that out and put in a sled--I worked with Savage to order the same parts that were in my other rifle and they sent wrong stuff twice so I gave up
LRPV should be solid Post a photo I have some Savage mag parts on hand that may work

You could try this but you might have to cut out a slot in the stock and glue it. As others have said the single shot actions the feed tray is milled into the action

I have a Savage LRP in the HS Precision stock - it's a Model 12/red trigger - and has a removeable magazine - 4 rounds. I'm not sure what flavour of magazine it is - HS or Savage.

Savage LRPV is different from 12 LRP.
LRPV is single shot and LRP has a detachable magazine.

This is a guess on my part but if you have a repeater you should have gotten a stock for a repeater with a blind magazine well then purchased a single shot sled that inserts into the magwell. I could be wrong but that is what I am doing. No it is not a Savage part.

That’s new news to me. I’d like to see it. The lrpv rifles were right bolt left port actions. I like learning what I can on savage rifles

Correct. LRPV is designed as a single shot, target action.LRP has mag.

I know they did I just never seen one of those actions come with that particular stock is all. Every one I ever seen was with the green laminate wood stock

Its a Hs precision stock .Never seen one myself until I purchased this one from Mr. Bob White at Shooters Corner .. Very accurate rifle the mag feeds very well suprisingly for a 6mmbr but marks the brass up so i shoot it single shot
