Savage Model 12 LRPV

I put an Urbanrifleman Wilson on my LRPV after 3000 rounds out of the factory
barrel.
This barrel far exceeded my expectations.
I wanted a 12 twist to shoot 68 Gr and went with ther recomended .030 FB.
This is the only change to the bone stock Savage.
The rifle consistantly shoots .3 at 100 and less than a !/2 MOA at 200 using Bart's Avengers
over 28.3 Gr of N133.
Best 200 yard was ,257 five shots.
Brad is great to work with and I would recomend using him to anyone.

You need to send me some targets. :)

If your jumpy about redoing the stock. Check with Boyds stocks to see if they have a stock that will fit your needs.

Replaced both my Model 12's with the AT stock.

This way you can always go back to factory look in case you wish to sell it.

Just a thought.

Good luck with your adventure.

I purchased one a 6br 1/12 twist 26" barrel when they first hit the market. It has been a very good shooter and is one of my favorite coyote rigs. Currently using 75g vmax at 3150 ish. It has never been bullet picky for the application I use it for. Oh mine is dual port.

I do have a 1/10 .269 necked barrel to replace the factory when I feel my accuracy falls off.

I bought an LRPV (left port right bolt) last summer in .233. Have only shot it out to 200 yds with Hornady factory. Bullets go exactly where they’re supposed to. At 200 yds I’m getting .375 moa.
I had one a couple years ago in 6.5CM. I put it in an MDT chassis. It was incredibly accurate at the 300 yd range at my gun club. It was no problem to hit a 1/2 steel plate that was hanging where only the 1/2” edge was exposed, with Hornady factory ammo. Still wondering why I sold it.
