I think we’re just gravy on top of the military contracts and they wouldn’t even care if we stopped.you guys ever seen that thing. forgot the name of it. but no one buys gas for like 3 days, and the price will drastically drop. We should all go on strike. Go to all the other forums and say don't buy supplies from this day to this day or for an entire month, and just bring them to thier knees.
Well not with that attitude lol. The military isnt buying every kind of powder they make though. reloaders make up a huge market.I think we’re just gravy on top of the military contracts and they wouldn’t even care if we stopped.

Yeah my whole life I've heard the drama. Nukes, asteroid, tsunami, mega quakes, on and on.That's the situation in a nutshell. Anybody who thinks these prices will drop anytime soon if they delay buying components now is only fooling him or herself, and they'll just end up paying even more in the long run.
I don't want to alarm people people, but here's a BBC story that surprised even me (a confirmed pessimist) ...
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-67935464
......... and people wonder where the powder and primers are going!
It's called supply and demand, y
A U.K. official recently allegedly commented "the U.K. would run out of ammo within a matter of days if engaged in a war with Russia".
I've seriously been looking into air guns. But the government will soon probably put a tax on air usage....
after ruminating a little on what scope to get for my springer, Im now thinking I should trade it in (sell) and get a PCP setup. Hopefully will always be able to burn a little powder though.Well, no reloading, very little cleaning. .05 per shot max with good pellets. At 25 yards no conditions ONCE you learn you can shoot groups in the zeros. At 50 yards outdoors with little or no wind you can shoot in th 1s or 2s.. They will teach you bench manners like nothing else.
Matthew 6:34Yeah my whole life I've heard the drama. Nukes, asteroid, tsunami, mega quakes, on and on.
I'm over 60 and nothing has changed. Could any one of these things happen of course, but should we live our lives going from one panic to the next? Not me, I'll be enjoying life and if something happens down the road I'll deal with it same as everything that came up in the past. We humans are here a blink of an eye in the grand scope of things, do you all really want to spend it fretting over everything that is said or done, or that may happen?
Besides, I'm of the mind that all this stuff is scripted and going to their grand plan. Think about it, the generation that's running all this stuff still believes there's nothing that builds the economy better than a good war or three. Why else do you think these current ones just dribble on, they are getting rid of old supplies and it provides a need for new ones. People dying is just a side effect to those that decide.
We're just along for the ride. It's like being out in cold nasty weather, you can dress for it and get through most anything, might even enjoy yourself or not and suffer through it.
Amen.Matthew 6:34
I shoot a Diana54 in .22 a lot, it is a magnum Springer, supposedly hard on scopes. I have a Sightron STac 5x20 on it mounted in Burris Zee rings. The inserts absorb a lot of the vibration from the spring. The vibration from the spring is the scope killer, not the recoil. I rebuilt my TX200 last week after 15,000 shots. The spring in it compared to the spring in the Diana 54 is like seeing a .223 round beside a 300 Win Mag. At 25 yards the groups that make you smile are 5 shots in a hole, in the hole, inside a notebook paper reinforcement ring. With a PCP no learning curve as far as shooting the shot. You need air bottles, a souce for air or an expensive compressor. No electricity, no air. Out to 50 yards they are no more accurate than a Springer, some not as accurate. Top of the line Springer 600 to 750.00. Top line PCP 1800.00 to 6000.00 +. Big thing for me, the rifle and s tin of pellets is all I need.after ruminating a little on what scope to get for my springer, Im now thinking I should trade it in (sell) and get a PCP setup. Hopefully will always be able to burn a little powder though.
I like you….Some people blame the people that are buying powder and primers now as the reason why prices remain high. As if they should not buy anything until prices go down. lol Anybody here know for sure you're even going to be here tomorrow?
I had a friend a 1.5 years ago that decided to get into reloading... just his 2 preferred calibers. Equipment prices were back to normal but primer and powder was still high. He spent a few thousand bucks on primers and powder and has enough to last him the rest of his life at the rate he shoots. I told him other people would tell you to wait till prices go down but I have a feeling this is not letting up. Maybe not ever as long as we have this self destructive mentally ill democrat party that has clearly shown everyone that their lives mean nothing. I've always said democrats would rather you die than defend yourself. Liberals can't even deny that at this point.
It took BLM and Covid to wake up the average non gun owning American to realize they might want to get a gun and a bunch of ammo that goes along with it. I'm not sure the country will lull back into that complacent lifestyle they used to live in anytime soon, if ever with what violence is poised to occur that this administration has created the conditions for here at home. The liberals have created psychopaths with their narcotics and gender agenda, catered to criminals and illegals, and made everything easier for terrorists to come on in and set up camp. And Hezbllah has been working right across the border in Mexico since 08.
Even if Trump gets reelected, is there some bright side I'm not seeing in the near future? I'm not seeing the bright side as we watch the next 10 years of consequences unfold for a generation of crack and heroin addicted, marijuana smoking, America hating, psychotropic drug using, Hamas/terrorist sympathizing losers that cater to illegal aliens and criminals at the same time they vote their freedoms away.
So if you need powder... and primers, I say get your powder and primers now, while they are on the shelves.
