But this time don’t be shocked at a 70% increase then.If you have been reloading for a while you should remember that prices on components goes up right around the time the Shot Show is held.
Then the Government is giving it back to Corp through our tax dollars too. Lose-Lose.We are being raped by Corp America--they have taken advantage of us all on every front--they don't seem to think they can kill the golden goose--
I don’t want to sound like a Prude, but I lost interest in air guns at age fourteen.I've seriously been looking into air guns. But the government will soon probably put a tax on air usage....
LOL. That was a LONG time ago.I don’t want to sound like a Prude, but I lost interest in air guns at age fourteen.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I need to concentrate on the bullet buying now more. This will be a pain for the pocketbook for sure.Guys who have a stash may be seen as hoarders, especially when supply is low and demand is high. I see those guys as the smart ones, making sure they have what they need when they need it. Much of my own powder was bought during the Obama shortage and I still add some primers, powder and bullets when I see them for a deal or when I’m running low. I’m currently trying to get a decent supply of several VV powders for pistol and rifle.
I hope components come down in cost and are plentiful at some point buts that’s a gamble I’m not willing to take, especially when you see an announcement like this. To each their own.
^^^^^^^^As is normal the poor working class stiff is being pushed out of participation. I’m glad that this working class stiff stocked up when he did(tail end of Obama’s regime, and during the great Trump years before the Covid debacle)because I would be saying “uncle” right now.![]()
