I understand what you guys who make your living advertising and selling a product are saying here. And you're absolutely right that a supposed buyer can often turn out to be an inconsiderate individual who doesn't mind wasting your time and resources. Being tied up by a prospective buyer that doesn't pan out, can cause you to lose a sale with somebody else who was willing and ready to buy with cash in hand! I'm a self employed licensed tradesmen who's been in business for 32 years now, and I know what it's like when a prospective buyer backs out of a deal or a scheduled appointment at the last minute. I use my better jugement and discretion to decide when I think somebody is finalizing a deal.....or whether they are just casually shopping. So, while I stated earlier that I try to afford simple courtasies to a prospective buyer by trying to accomodate some questions or requests, I do fully understand it works both ways, and why you give precedence to those who respond with an "I'll take it".
