My Covid Regimen

Tetanus works great and doesn’t have many side effects. Wish I could say all vaccines were “common sense” but not all work great and not all have juice worth the squeeze.

A Customer just called me, Vaccinated and boosted, just tested positive.
Said he feels pretty bad. When I mentioned the therapeutics he said he's just going to ride it out. Be interesting to see how he does.

What gets me is this omoricon variant was claimed to have been discovered a few weeks ago. It's now claimed to be 75% of cases. You tell me in a couple weeks...it travels around the world?? How in the world does any of this testing show the variant? I call BS
There are several 'interesting' aspects to the omicron variant, and it's sudden, and exclusive presence.
How long have tests been looking for it?
Did widespread domestic testing commence only after it was first noticed in Africa?
Could it have been present long before its recent 'discovery'? That might explain the high number of mild cases reported.
Why is there now such little quantitative/ comparative mention of the delta variant, or the original strain?
Is this due to the release of gov't stats, or media reporting?
From all I have learned of the omicron var. it should be viewed as something of good news/ the light at the end of the tunnel, given it's prolific nature, and apparently mild symptoms.

Omicron isn't being tested for. My facility does THOUSANDS of tests per week and does not have the means to distinguish between variants. To distinguish, it takes shipping to a national lab a few states away and waiting three months. The same thing happened when delta was the presumed prominent strain; the media and local health departments stated delta was the prominent variant and was "surging" even though they had no data to prove it.

So does that mean 1 out of 100 dies? If not, what does it mean? I don’t like those odds, playing with my life.

Are you saying your chances are better- 99%, than of those vaccinated? 99.99%?
No, it doesn't mean one out of 100 dies. Its closer to three or four out of 1000; typically one with multiple co-morbidities. Estimation for the "vaccinated" at least by last real-world numbers is about a 60% reduction over the un-vaccinated. However, that number keeps dropping.

I applaud Biden. Possibly the first honest thing that he has said in his political career, and it is no small thing.
“There is no federal solution."

However it will not be solved at a state level either. He is just passing the responsibility to others and trying to remove it from himself. It is an admission of failure and politicians don't like to do that. Any watering down of that is nothing more than an excuse.

It will be handled, not solved, just like any other flu virus with time, exposure, and resistance built up naturally or through forced exposure- "vaccines." People still should make an informed personal decision on their own treatments and circumstances and not worry about being liberal minded and controlling what anyone else does because they think it is best.

Like the title of this thread infers, give thought to your personal care and options.

Here is a study from the Washington Department of Health: https://www.doh.wa.gov/Portals/1/Do...-tables/421-010-CasesInNotFullyVaccinated.pdf.

Here are the most recent CDC comparisons I could find: https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#rates-by-vaccine-status

Regardless to what study you look at, being vaccinated substantially increased your chances of living and of suffering minimal symptoms if you get Covid. It also substantially decreases your chances of getting the virus.

"Deaths are only shown for Washingtonians 65 years old and older due to the relatively smaller number of deaths in other age groups and associated instability in rates when assessing by vaccination status."

Additionally, there is bias in the data in that vaccinated people went through a period which they were not tested. Notice, there has been a steady increase in vaccinated cases since late summer due to waning immunity.

And this all on the contingency of trusting CDC...or Washington State.

All irrelevant to the point I was making...for the latest reporting period for my state, for example, there were 2 deaths per 100,000 overall during the last period. That is statistically insignificant if you've had a vaccine or not and likeliness of death is minimal.

One thing to keep in mind is that this has nothing what so ever to do with politics! We need to follow the science on this issue. I have several friends refusing to get a shot purely based on politics. One ended up in the ICU for a week. The other is doing fine. I simply cannot stress this enough, "follow the science". Stay safe.

Paul

I probably would follow the science, but I have trouble with believing Fauci after he changed his narrative early on about masks several times.. Don't make recommendations until you have proof or you loose creditability. He has none. Don't care what brand he is.

Everyone has their own opinions on the Covid thing. My wife (RN) worked at the local hospital nearly 47 years, quite a few in the ER and the last 15 on the Intensive Care floor and has been in the thick of this Covid mess.

She has done a lot of research and has firsthand experience with the patients with Covid. She informed me earlier this year she woke up and had no sense of smell which is usually an early indicator. She got tested and yes she had Covid, my Son works at a local Pharmacy and had to get tested and yes he had Covid. I didn't get tested but we all had the same headaches, sore muscles, loss of appetite, sinus drainage and cough. They felt cold but I thought the house felt too hot. About 4 days later it was pretty much over and life went on as usual although we all felt tired for a few more days. I'm 67, she is 65 and me eldest Son is 34. My daughter-in-law and youngest Son both had it, we also babysat my 3 year old Grandson 5 days a week which included our Covid time. He never got a sniffle.

None of us have gotten the vaccine, the Hospital mandated all employees had to have the vaccine or would be terminated. The date for compliance was November 30th, She turned in her letter of resignation and her final day was November 28th. She said nearly 2/3rds of their worse Covid patients had been vaccinated, an increase in strokes, blood clots and organ failure along with other conditions reinforced her decision to not get it.

I did have a close friend and neighbor that hadn't been vaccinated and died but he had other complications along with some things that could be considered malpractice or mistakes with his care. A good many of my friends have been jabbed thinking they are doing the "right" thing and a few others were blackmailed with losing their job without submitting.

We feel there is way more to the jab and masking thing than for our wellbeing. Plenty of resources on the Internet for both arguments but you've all heard it before "I'm from the Government, and I'm here to help". Read up on what these vaccinations do to your immune systems, people try to be too sanitary which isn't good for their immune systems.

People have made their decisions, hope whatever it is it works out well for you. We'll stick with our natural antibodies and the 13 times more protection than the vaccines based on the Israeli study. Haven't worn a mask yet, I refuse to due to their ineffectiveness but will consider a shield if I wish to visit a friend that may have a compromised immune system.

Take time to inform yourself, over a 99% survival rate if you get Covid but you'll be flipping the coin on the vaccination killing you and you still aren't immune to the virus even after all the jabs. Once you get them there is no "do overs", there is no long term studies or data as to side affects down the road to help in your decision.
