My Covid Regimen

Quercetin is poorly absorbed, which is why you see it with bromelain, which is added to improve that. I doubt that you could get to the levels needed for this from diet, and I do not think that anyone will consistently eat or drink something every day.
Yeah, but I could try real hard....;)

Is good to keep your resistance up , what got us was sitting at the dinner table , you have to go on with life . If you get it , you hope to get through it and get back to life. Pay back is the next step.

The stats show that there is a more than 99% chance of recovery, even among the most vulnerable demographic, regardless of your 'approach' to treatment or prevention, better than your chances of recovering from a heart attack.

This is dangerously wrong.

From a paper earlier this month in the European Journal of Epidemiology:

"Results Our analysis finds a exponential relationship between age and IFR* for COVID-19. The estimated age-specific IFR is very low for children and younger adults (e.g., 0.002% at age 10 and 0.01% at age 25) but increases progressively to 0.4% at age 55, 1.4% at age 65, 4.6% at age 75, and 15% at age 85. Moreover, our results indicate that about 90% of the variation in population IFR across geographical locations reflects differences in the age composition of the population and the extent to which relatively vulnerable age groups were exposed to the virus."

Hopefully we are out of the woods at day 12 we are still kicking , the NYS Health Department called today and said tomorrow we can go out. We don't feel we are feeling quite up to it yet . Still have congestion , cough and ache. Will take the vaccine when available.

My 14yo daughter has had it for 6 days now. So far nothing worse than a mild cold for her, thank God. We have a family member that is a nurse at the local hospital. She said their regime is Vit D 3000-5000 iu a day, Zinc 50-75mg a day, Quercetin 250mg twice a day, Vit C 500mg every 6 hours and a 81mg baby aspirin.

She also said if your having a little trouble getting a full breath, breath in a deep breath, hold it for 4 seconds and release. Do this 10X every hour. And sleep on your stomach if you can.

So far my wife and I are negative. I've been on the quercetin/bromelain/zinc for a few months. We were all exposed by the same same person 10 days ago so I'm hoping my wife and I wont get it.

We have dodged the bullet until now , we are on the down slope , the health department gave us the Ok and end the quarantine. Still feel like a lingering cold symptom , drip and cough . Wife doesn't feel 100% nausea. It hangs on to you for awhile I guess untill you feel. 100% . Walk in or doctor just say stay home , drink water , eat normally . No magic pill. Kind of feel like your on your own , if conditions worsen go to the hospital . Hopefully most will get the vaccine before catching it , it's no walk in the park.

FWIW, among the 500 members+children at church. . . over 80% have had it, and well over half of those were either asymptomatic (wouldn't have known without a positive test in their household) or so mild they'd have thought nothing of it. I think there were 2 hospitalizations among those 500 people.

We had it; my kids had headcold symptoms for 3 days, my wife and I had the same and ~1deg of fever for ~2 weeks. The most remarkable thing was how mild and long-lasting it was. . . my worst day of symptoms I changed a motor mount in my Odyssey.

There's no doubt that it's quite dangerous to the elderly or those with poor health, but for most people it's less risky than driving to work.

I hope this goes down as the most extreme overreaction of the century. . . because anything more extreme will kill us all.
I just want to point out that if your rate of 2 in 500 people needing a hospital bed is consistent all across the nation, that's approximately 1.3 million hospital beds. There aren't that many hospital beds total, much less available in any given window of time. What will our communities do if too many people need the hospital at once and there are no beds available? How do we decide how to triage and prioritize care and who has the enviable job of telling the sick to go home because the hospital is full?

Interesting webpage with info about hospital capacity currently available and in use:

I'm thankful you and your wife are better Butch. We are taking about the same supplements you did, information I picked up here. So far, so good. I have a good friend in the hospital that they can't get off a ventilator. Scary stuff.
Dean I just got over it myself..for me the 24hr headaches about sent me over the top after 4days of it.. I found 12hr Aleve was a game changer for my headaches ibuprofen and Tylenol did nothing for me.

I'm glad you're over it! I damn sure don't want it.....

Nine days in and overall I would rate it as about a 4 on a scale of 1-10 in an average cold. Some moderate body aches, dry cough, moderate nasal issues. No real fever - 99. Feel like I can function at or near 100% in all but a few days of it.

Unusual symptoms: Anosmia and lower back pain that would bend you over. Anosmia is in its 3rd day and back pain was only extreme for 2 days. Friends said Anosmia lasted 3-5 days.

When I first suspected I was exposed I started taking Zinc Quercetin everyday. I also added Vit-C (EmergenC pkts.) daily. I already take 5000D3 and a multivitamin. I wholeheartedly believe that Zinc with an Ionophore is the ticket to help mitigate the worst of it.

Keep your immune system healthy and sanitary conditions good. I've known quite a number of people who have been infected with maybe >1% who have actually needed hospitalization. Do the best you can but don't live in fear. Special precautions for special circumstances.

Wife and I came down with Covid early November. Wife called her doctor and asked for Monoclonal antibodies treatment and lady said oh we don’t recommend it. She called her Hematologist and they scheduled it for the next day. She recovered very quickly 5-6 days. I sure wish I would have done the same. It took me 21 days to get over it. I had low grade fever and a cough.

I tested positive on a Friday, called the VA to see if could get the monoclonal antibodies. Nope, don't come there either. Went to the local Urgent Care and due to my age (71) I qualified for the antibodies. Got the antibodies drip Monday afternoon and by 8:00PM was feeling much better. Good as new in 2-3 days. Lost taste and smell for around 10 days. My boss's wife tested positive and both doctored with Ivermectin. She was fine in 2 days and he never got it. I asked the VA about Ivermectin and got a lecture that it wasn't proven and was an animal medicine. I took Vit D, 20,000 IU twice daily, Vit C, NAC, Zinc Quercetin and K2. My church had 45 cases in one week, (I was one of them), 2 died and two hospitalized but out now. I also was fully vaccinated with Moderna which may have helped but the side effects are still lingering from inoculation in May.

A friend of mine refused standard treatment for Covid. Took ivermectin. Not with us today.

My doc prescribed Ivermectin when both I and wife tested positive. Also a nebulizer with Budesonide for a breathing treatment. We both recovered in about 7 days. 67 years old. I've had a lot worse flu's when I was a kid compared to this. Also took vitamin C & D. Little bit of headaches and sweating at night. Were not Vaxed, Are kids are and a few of them got it anyway. Our Doctor said he treated over hundred patients with this treatment he gave us and not one has had to go to hospital yet. Guess what, people actually used to die before covid 19 from flu and other things but you'd never know it.
Doctors make a difference , some are not intimidated and are way ahead of the curve on treating this, but there are a lot that just go with the flow instead of going against the grain and thinking for themselves.
