Looking for precision weight scale

I like mine a lot. I don't know if the added weighing accuracy is gaining me anything on the target at 200 yards, but at least I have the peace of mind of knowing that my loads are the best I can make them.

I tried that powder trickling and I find going a tad OVER with the dispenser and scooping off the excess with an aluminum 1/2 teaspoon to be much faster. I know exactly how many kernels to scoop off with each powder I use to get .02 grains on the spoon. For example, with Varget it is about .02 per kernel, so if I dispense 30.06 and I am shooting for 30.00, I just scoop off 3 kernels. It's faster than you would think.

That sounds like a good idea. I'm with you about not being sure how much performance will be gained on target with this much precision but it will be great to rule out powder charge weight as a culprit if a load is giving bad results.

Got my new AND FX-120i last week and used it over the weekend with great success. You can't beat dropping that last granule of 4895 (.02) to the hundredths to top off a load. I use my Chargemaster for about what it's worth, just a good dispenser to get you close. Kudos to Cambridge Environmental for giving us a great price on a great scale.

Lucky I scored one at that price two weeks ago- today, they're up to $525...
