None of the ones I've been involved with have the excess budget to panic buy.

If their contracts take priority, there's no need for them to panic buy, their supply is almost always available.

I’ve heard it’s something like 5%. Emerging or not it is small. The fastest growing part of the market is the new shooters, not competitors, sorry to say. That is why loaded ammunition is the primary focus. When that catches up the the component market will get better.It would be interesting to know what percentage of the marketplace hand loaders represent. I’m thinking it’s pretty small...
Exactly. And, they also face the unknown of what future regulations may restrict sales more than the usual demand cycles.but nobody is willing to sink billions into a giant new facility that won't be open for years and may sit idle (and drive your company bankrupt) once it finally opens
