I had to take a walk

Makes the day, doesn't it? Can you share a bit more, bullet weight, twist, conditions? I'm working with a 6/250 and 6 slr so quite interested in your powder.

Yes sir, The temp was 55 wind out of 9:00 7 to 12 MPH. Mirage sometimes reversed. 6BRX 1:8.5 twist 27 inch. Bullet was a Berger 105 bt eight thousands off the lands. Velocity averaged right at 3100, ES 9.

I had an exact same thing with my 6.5 CM been fighting powders and load combo's, then tried different powder and BAM it just all came together. At first your just confused at what your seeing then it sinks in. I was like "no way" lets see if it can hold up,... and it does.

It never really sunk in till I got home. I have probably jinxed myself by mentioning it. I learned that in transmissions, never say anything good about one when your done.

Yes sir. I know it's history now but I had bought a lot of it before it was discontinued. I will say I got carbon a little past the necks until I reached 35 grains. I see or feel no signs of over pressure.

Was curious, as I had not heard of 4407! I have a nice stash 4007, and none of the LOTs were among those recalled.:) My luck with it has run mostly very GOOD precision (groups) and velocity, or, decent precision, but mediocre velocity.RG

I could get a little more velocity with H4350 in the 6.5 cm but not the same accuracy as 4407ssc. I also found 4407ssc likes to be run hard. I had and shot the bad lot before we knew. Lot of smoke.

How does this vertical look for 328 yards? I'm asking because most of my paper shooting has been at 100 yards. Anything that was not tied down was blown away by the wind.

Nice mate . Love the 6BRX and man you got yours cooking at those speeds..

35g is no faster than 34.7. Without a drop tube 35 is just starting to compress with .104 FB. Guess I need to make some flags, around here you get some strange looks if you set out a flag. The correct rear bag arrived yesterday and it tracks much better, on the work bench.
