You'll find, as usual, that the naysayers have never owned, nor used the summit presstitanxt said:For those who have commented that I could do better for the money, please be patient with me and my lack of experience. What is it about the press that makes it inferior to other presses? Is there a feature that I need to be thinking about that the Summit does not have? Did you have on e or try one and it just did not perform? I have only owned two presses in my life and I do not know a whole lot about them to be honest.
Thank you!

Call him Alex. He would be happy to tell you. He has access to every press on the market, and found the Lee Classic Cast to be the best. A couple of quotes:Shynloco said:JRS said:....... Ask one of the best bullet makers on the planet, Randy Robinett, which presses he chose to use, and why![]()
Great suggestion! I'd really enjoy hearing from Randy on the subject of "Press Tolerance" and why he uses what he does. His innovations have certainly worked for me, especially on my 30BR.

I can't compare the 2 (I don't have the Summit),But I've used the T7 for some years and it makes some straight ammo. With having a couple of heads I set-up and leave the dies (mulitple cals) set just change heads.titanxt said:Please fill in the blanks for a new guy. Why do you prefer the T7 over the Summit? I have no experience with either.
