For clarity, I was using that chart for 50 yd rimfire.Charts like that are ok when you're first starting out to get a general idea of what you might see. As long as you understand that what actually happens can vary from day to day and at different ranges
Further than 50 yd you can get 3 different winds in three different speeds and directions, switching, rising falling etc.
So in my view, centerfire 400+ yd is more a seat of the pants call... shoot a round and look for impacts, then guestimate wind speed..
