My late father-in law, a logger his whole life, had a year where he had a lifetime of incidents; one after another. On his third trip into the hospital, he had several smashed ribs and a badly bruised lung which were the result of his getting thrown out the front of his line machine. At the time of this accident, he was sporting an ankle to hip cast on his left leg. During the exam, the doctor told him, "You know, you're a tough old coot but it might be time for you to consider a different line of work." He did not. He kept logging until his retirement and died of a heart attack afterwards. WH

Glad you're feeling a little better. If you need a good laugh I broke my left femur when I was 25 standing up on a taboggan going down a hill everybody usually sits down on theirs. It kicked out from under me and I fell on the side of it and heard pop like a piece of wood breaking. When I got to the bottom I lifted up my leg but my foot stayed on the ground, I was like oh $hit, rescue squad came and took me to the hospital. Ended up with a steel plate with 12 screws holding my bone together till it healed. Never went back to have it taken out, but it doesn't bother me and I'm 66. Was on crutches for a couple months.

Don't try this at home.

Thanks guys yesterday was rough but today’s better so far, I think I went to th moon yesterday with some wild meds. Nothing’s taking me out especially not a broke bone or blood clot
Living as long as we did in the San Francisco bay area, on occasion we would see a bumper sticker that said "reality is for people who can't handle drugs". Sounds like you are getting big doses of both!
