Busted Femur

O.T. after you get back on your feet, would you be interested in making a road trip to the Hill Country? We are thinking about buying a skid steer to use around our place, and it sounds like you could help us choose the right one (Bobcat vs. Kubota vs. CAT vs. ?), and it would be a LOT smaller than a D9. ;)

I hope this suggestion didn't make you spit out your Jell-O just now. And don't let them sumbitches in the hospital wake you up to give you a sleeping pill. (Maybe that's just a rumor, but I've heard they actually do such things...)

Thumper I thought I had it bad with my knee replacement. Sounds like you've had to many broken bones for me. The pain is the big thing, and yes you have to keep taking the damn pills or your not going to sleep at night. Good luck buddy hang in there. Prayers are with you.

Well I did a good one this time, I shattered my femur good this time. Ive broke my left leg several times and every bone in my left leg/foot and my femur twice now by means of heavy equipment. I’ll be down a long time this go around it would appear. Keep the faith guys and stay safe out thr, an accident can happen in a split second. ApolIglesias if I seem off but I. On massive meds. Love you all and stay safe out thr, I’m currently fighting PI’s in my lungs and may not mak it but know it’s all good and keep the faith. God is goood not matters What
Prayers sent for you!

Looks like you and the left leg have not been getting along.
With your attitude, sounds like you are on your way for a fast recovery.

ETA: I just noticed your avatar has his left leg up in the air. Maybe that guy doesn't get alobg with the left leg either.

Did they do an open reduction? That looks like what they did to me in the dark ages 45 years ago. I was talking to a guy at the drug store a few years back who had a similar fracture & was walking (painfully) a week later with an external traction device screwed to bone above & below the break.

I’ve had external halo’s on Tibia/Fibula fractures but it wasn’t an option this time nor would I have wanted one. You cant do anything with one and your fighting infections non stop, been thr and done that—NOPE You loose the use of your knee externally fixating the femur so your stuck in one position for months,
