Guys, check this out.

Breaking News: New shooting supplies webstore Bullets.com has just gone live. (And yes, the new Bullets.com site does work, unlike a certain government health care website). You may want to jump on this right away. There are some hard-to-find Hodgdon powders (1lb only) in stock, along with many of the most popular Berger and Lapua bullets (that are in short supply). CCI 450s in stock! Plus a zillion other products -- dies, stocks, Nightforce scopes and much more.

They have rifle barrel blanks available but the manufacture isn't listed???

Appears to be generic Bartlien advertising...

As long as it fills a void with products, let those that buy decide. the Barrel section if you highlite it are Bartlein. They state they are a division of Grizzly., so they would have comparable barrel inventory. We do have choices. Hope they succeed.

Same layout as Grizzly, almost jumped on some Berger bullets but ouch on the price..I wish they would split those Norma 300 wm cases up, Don't need a 1000.

I have personal friends who have had to cut back on their match schedules because they couldn't find the Berger 180s and H4350 that worked the best. They are not hoarders -- just the opposite, they quickly consume what they can find. When they saw this new source their response was "thank you for the heads up".

Is 300 win mag brass that costly for a 1000.It breaks down to 129.00 per 100 case's for winchester brass. The powder price is like any other small shop which is ok.Primers were not too badly priced either. Thanks for the heads up boos.Where are they out of?

Classic supply-and-demand dynamic. If you can supply a product that is in high demand, you can charge a higher fee.

they are a little high priced but i just got the bullets that I need and can't find anywhere else.
Jason, I found the same thing you did. I have looked every where on the Internet for Berger 105gr Hybrid 6mm/.243 and these are the first ones that I have found available.

They cost $39.95/100 and are available at Bullets.com. At 6 other major web sites I just check and the cost varied from about $32.00 to $34.00 but they were all out of stock and when they do get them back in stock I am not sure if the prices will remain the same or increase.

Since I am getting very low on them I will probably buy them from Bullets.com because these are the bullets I need, they are in stock and no one else seems to have them.

Like the old saying goes, "when you are out to sea in a ship and a hurricane is approaching any port will do".

Thank you everyone for your business. Today was the first day of business for Bullets.com and we were overwhelmed with dozens of orders most of which were shipped out today as well.

I know there may be a few start-up issues, but when you launch 8000 plus products in one shot there are bound to be a few glitches for some products. We're working hard to get everything running smoothly.

Definitely true,

Most sites show the last price on products. As the new stock comes in, prices change. Sometimes it's a big increase. I know Hornady had a big increase on most of their pistol ammo, but many sites still list the old price.

Bullets.com and you don't carry Hornady bullets?!

It has been a huge challenge getting product to sell. Hornady is not even taking new dealers, same as Hodgon and many big name companies. They cannot even fill orders for their existing cstomers. If it wasn't for my connections and relationships with people in the industry, we would not have a tenth of the product we have in stock.

So, if you see Hodgon powder at Bullets.com and think it is overpriced, that is not because we are overcharging. It is because we had to buy it from another party (a middle man) just to have it to sell. Personally, I hate the companies that overcharged and took advantage of us shooters when the shortage started - I will remember them. That is also not our style. At the same time, there are smaller, boutique type businesses that can work on lower margins and they also are the ones that stop answering calls and emails when it gets busy, and take weeks to process your orders, with no idea if inventory will be stock when your order is to be shipped. The bigger companies cannot price products with 10 to 15% mark-ups like these smaller companies because it costs more than that just in expenses and to pay bills. There is room for everyone in this industry.

I was speaking to an ammunition company about pricing of 9mm ammo that I used personally. I accused them of gouging as they were charging more for the ammo wholesale than I was buying it for at retail last year. He said their costs had gone up. I think he knew what I meant when I shook my head. He said "and you will not see those old prices again". This was from a manufacturer!

Shiraz, can you sell 50 of those Norma 300 wm cases?

I think we have them in boxes of 25 as well. The 1000 pack was a lower priced bulk pack.

I will check why the 25 pack boxes are not showing on the site.

Lots of folks in my area have started shooting air rifles in response. High startup cost, but low, low from there on. Can't wear a barrel out. Pellets are cheap. No hazmat! No FFL. Danged accurate to 100 yards. No recoil. Quiet! Lots of fun.

I know several folks that have quit shooting rimfire over availability. One guy, csaid he'd rekindled his love of hunting. Another saw my PSE TAC 15 crossbow, bought one, and set up a 100 yard range off his deck. He dove in head first, has accurized it, weighs and spins arrows, and is getting close to his 1" 100 yard group goal.

My point is that some people have had enough, caught a clue, and are voting with their feet. The gougesrs cannot assume constant demand....and they will never see those customers again...

Same thing that Bruno's stated and many on this site ripped them to shreds.

Hopefully people will understand that most were not taking advantage of us and that they adjust their budgets (and attitudes) accordingly.

Prices are what they are but I like the way the website is setup for searching. Some of the better known web vendors have horrible sites that make you drill down through numerous levels to get to what you are looking for. This one seems to have solved that issue.
