I maybe wouldn’t give up on the die just yet and try some imperial sizing wax.Haven't got access to one, but my Gunsmith has the necessary tools to remove the stuck case.

My case was well covered in it.I maybe wouldn’t give up on the die just yet and try some imperial sizing wax.
I hear you mate, if I could get the original case out I can perhaps investigate with my gunsmith to see if that is viable.Running a few cases thru it to break it in , might end up being the perfect die. Alex says you almost can't size this case enough. Just a thought.
Wheeler, Alex Wheeler is the correct nameMy apologies Mr Walker.
Clean your die and lightly coat the inside of your die with imperial wax as well..especially the very bottom of the die where case enters. My case was well covered in it.
Bullet central doesn't list a Micron 6.5-7 PTC Bushing die. Also, what seater are you using?Bullet Central also.
They definitely make one but it doesn't show on their website which I mentioned to Zach Boor. I corresponded with him via email since I'm in Australia and they have to do up a separate invoice to ship here.Bullet central doesn't list a Micron 6.5-7 PTC Bushing die. Also, what seater are you using?
I'll try this once I can get the stuck case out thanks.Clean your die and lightly coat the inside of your die with imperial wax as well..especially the very bottom of the die where case enters.
Your first few brass lightly size them and you'll feel it very stiff. Pull the case out and relube it....especially the base.
After the first few cases it will size very smoothly.
And when you are sizing you can feel it getting stiff... stop and relubeI'll try this once I can get the stuck case out thanks.
Has this been your personal experience with Erik's original small base die?Clean your die and lightly coat the inside of your die with imperial wax as well..especially the very bottom of the die where case enters.

With the small base bullet central micron dies for my prc'sHas this been your personal experience with Erik's original small base die?
Copy, I think Erik's is a bit smaller than that one as I have no trouble sizing with mine. With the small base bullet central micron dies for my prc's
I'm old enough to remember being schooled to say Mr. to someone I don't know personally...Wheeler, Alex Wheeler is the correct name![]()
Agreed to adding Mr is a nice and polite thing to do. I was pointing out the name you were using (Walker) was incorrect and that the correct name for Mr. Wheeler was Wheeler and not Walker.I'm old enough to remember being schooled to say Mr. to someone I don't know personally...
One again I stand corrected... {:~/ Too hasty on the keyboard....Agreed to adding Mr is a nice and polite thing to do. I was pointing out the name you were using (Walker) was incorrect and that the correct name for Mr. Wheeler was Wheeler and not Walker.
Thank you for overlooking my errors...I dont care what you call me. Its like neck tension, its not an accurate term but we all know what we are trying to say.

The Manson reamer also has the 1°30' lead angle.I assume your talking about me. I do not have any reamers available through PTG. Only JGS. I recommend JGS because thats who I use and am familiar with their grind angles and tolerances. If you take the print to someone else, thats on you. There was no collaboration on any reamers. At the time, Eriks was released it was just my reamer, but adjusted for a 1-30 lead angle. Dont know if anything has changed or not. Bullet central will be offering a seating die, if they already do not. I have just been reaming Wilson blanks as usual with anything we cant get off the shelf. Reports on Eriks dies have been good, but so are reports on IN SPEC Bullet central dies. The base on the BC die is speced under .530". I have even gotten good feedback on the Redding dies. The problem is not the in spec dies. Its the out of spec dies.
I have nothing against Manson reamers. I just dont have a lot of experience with them. The ones I have used cut more freely than JGS reamers. I personally dont prefer that. They also have different tolerances than JGS. I know what JGS uses for tolerance and how much of it they actually use. So I can spec a reamer and know within about .0001" of what it will actually measure most of the time. I dont know how much of the allowable tolerance Manson typically uses. So I just cant spec them out the same way. What really matters is the actual chamber dimensions. So, the actual reamer size and how it cuts come into play. Through trial and error I have come to the specs I like with JGS reamers. Just cant guarantee those would be the same specs I would have come to with others. The Manson reamer also has the 1°30' lead angle.
