Do you know if anyone has tried the Peterson 6.5 PRC brass with your reamer?

Thank you for your helpMy reamer works with the micron die so long as both are in spec.
Or the Peterson...Always take lapua if its an option
A quick and inexpensive fix if you don't have access to shims is a SS or steel washer.A LE Wilson 7 SAUM seater will work fine with a .031 shim.
Its what Ive been using without any issues.
G'day Willow,I've not encountered the donut as when I neck turn, I also cut into the shoulder which has prevented the donuts from forming - for now.
For me, no. Maybe things have changed but the stuff I have tried in other cartridges has not taken the pressure that Lapua or ADG will.Or the Peterson...
My question too, Peterson brass has replaced all others that I previously used...@Alex Wheeler

I will take that on board... Just in the throws about building a 7x6.5 PRCW.. Have never used ADG but the fact that they are making "ready to use" brass is a definite plus. For me, no. I think its accurate stuff. Have customers running it in BR. My 280ai brass could not take the same pressure as Nosler. The prc case can take a LOT of pressure so, I would say the Peterson should hold up.My question too, Peterson brass has replaced all others that I previously used...
Nearly 30 loading on their 6BR cases that get cleaned {SS wet} and AMP annealed @ time.
Have not lost a case yet and looking good in my 280AI as well... Flogged off the Norma and Nosler brass.
Just FYI, A couple months ago I Juenke'd some of the 180 ELDMs and they measured excellent.I have not had much luck finding berger 180 or 184's and my stock is about gone. Has anyone tried 180 eldm's? what would be a good starting load for h4350, h4831sc and n555?
any other bullet I should try?
Thank you for the prompt reply... I suppose it is too early to see if the Peterson 280AI will go the distance as it has only been fired 3 times. Here's hoping that the primers don't start falling out at 5-6 loads... 55.7gr of 4831SC is working quite well behind Berger 184's and not showing any pressure.I think its accurate stuff. Running a neck turn chamber with a .315 neck.G'day Willow,
Are you just skimming the brass or do you run a "Neck Turn" chamber?
BTW: How did you go at Canberra?
I wasn't there but several friends were and said that conditions were very mixed...

I noticed the E.S, I think it shows that 20's will shoot. It's exactly what I have found on my LR hunting guns.Virgin Adg out of Tims rifle. Note I chambered it for no turn Lapua, so hes running about .007" neck clearence. Doesnt seem to hurt.View attachment 1497394
I'm pushing the 184's in my 280AI with 55.7gr of 4831SC and having good results from a 30" 1:8.5 Swan 5 groove barrel. Also through a 32" Blake 6 groove 1:8.5 barrel.![]()
