Terry.....More then likely the reamer won't cut to print. You most likely
have seen this in the past. Grab a junk barrel and ream for a test, then
chamber cast it.

Please excuse a Noob lurker on this thread. What am I missing: 6.5 PRC brass, use a Mandrel to neck up to desired .284 neck, trim neck/length if needed, Use custom die/seater and reamer. Done...?

Use a 6.5 PRC die, with the proper bushing.

Eric Cortina is playing with a necked up 6.5 prc to 7mm. Check him out. Just ask someone about his tuners and they will know who he is. he calls it 7mm PRCW. you tube

I just measured a new Lapua 6.5PRC and have right at .001 run out for neck concentricity(if thats how it's said)
I used a .2830 mandrel, then a .307 sizer. The neck concentricity is now -.001
I gotta be missing something, nothing is that easy...!

So, who does this chamber? Wheeler?

Can you get brass for it as easily as you can for the PRC? I think that’s the main point for some of the newer wildcats people are basing off the PRC brass.
