7-6.5PRCW

I heard something today I want to clear up. I guess at a match guys were saying you could buy my reamer from Brunos and not wait on JGS. I never gave my print to Brunos. I have no idea what reamer they are selling, even if they put a w on it.

Thanks for dies info guys....
Eric really seems to have it wired and offers two different sizing die bases depending on what size your "200" mark is. .532" or .535" at the 200 line.
Stick with Eric's reamer version available from Manson or JGS's Alex Wheeler version and either one can be had as No Neck Turn or Neck Turn, virtually identical and I believe that perhaps they may even have collaborated on a cartridge that Mr Walker has done a lot to develop.
As for a seating die {Eric does not offer one} I bought a L E Wilson Micrometer seating blank die and used my reamer to bore it so that it matches my chamber {Wilson does not at this time offer a "ready made" one for the 7PRCC/7-6.5PRCW}

Thanks Fire Dog and everyone. I was leaning that direction myself. Although the SAC seating dies look appealing. Expensive though..

A word of warning, the .532 die is extremely tight - I tried mine on a virgin piece of brass which measured .530 at the .200 line and it stuck firmly in the die. I'll get it out this weekend with some much needed help, but advised Erik who was very helpful about the situation. He'll send me out a return label so I can send it back and get the .535 version which should be a better fit.

That’s very good info. Thanks. I am ordering the .535 version. I am going with the dimensions from Alex’s reamer at Jgs.

I assume your talking about me. I do not have any reamers available through PTG. Only JGS. I recommend JGS because thats who I use and am familiar with their grind angles and tolerances. If you take the print to someone else, thats on you. There was no collaboration on any reamers. At the time, Eriks was released it was just my reamer, but adjusted for a 1-30 lead angle. Dont know if anything has changed or not. Bullet central will be offering a seating die, if they already do not. I have just been reaming Wilson blanks as usual with anything we cant get off the shelf. Reports on Eriks dies have been good, but so are reports on IN SPEC Bullet central dies. The base on the BC die is speced under .530". I have even gotten good feedback on the Redding dies. The problem is not the in spec dies. Its the out of spec dies.

MY BAD... {:~(
Yes, I was referring to you and I did get crossed wires about the reamer manufacture and have amended my post... Just a mental block as I have reamers from all three companies.
JGS is what I meant to put in....
My apologies Mr Wheeler.

I must have gotten received one which is out of spec then as mine only sizes down to .532. It's pretty good, but I'd love it if it went down to .531 or .530.

Not sure what Erik's .532 die sizes down to but it's enough to result in stuck cases so I'm interested to know what his .535 die sizes down to.

What are you using for case lube?
Have you tried this?
