7-6.5PRCW load data

The N555 is all ive been using, I understand its not been available in some parts of the worlds however.
In that case try H4350 as I hear its worked well for some. Its all in what your barrel likes and I never could get that to work for me. This is with a 9 twist @31 inches. The 180 HYB's have been a bit more consistent and on point however at distance.

What’s your COAL ? I’m just trying to get an idea if I could use that fb length with my Seekins Hit rifle. Thanks
COAL is 3.171 180gr Hyb at .18 jam with .240 freebore. .220 FB would have been fine as most here already know. Nowhere close to shoulder/neck juncture with boat tails. CBTO 2.338 with SAC collator.

I appreciate the info. Helps me a lot for now having some measurements to go off of with my action.

All of the ammo is shipping out today for pressure testing. Hopefully they can schedule the test in as quickly as they can time permitting.

There are loads with N555 powder, H4831sc and H4350. Bullets are 166 and 190 Atips, 180 Berger Hybrids, 183 and 197SMK and 180 ELDM's.

260 rounds in total for this round of testing.

Great news, thanks for doing this. I may have missed it but what primers are you using? I noticed only a few give their primer choice in this thread and it is a lot of BR2 and 210M. One person mentioned 215M. I will test several kinds when my barrel has enough rounds through it but just wanted an opinion on if I should start with standard or magnum primers?

215M here.

Ive tried several and they all work fairly well...It does not seem to matter much.
I know FC-John uses CCI 200s and Ive used Br2s and Wolf and Fed210s. I like Wolf the best however
there will not be more of them around im thinking....Unless some Holy event happens and Humanity
comes to some magical rapture......yea never mind...primers dont matter much but powder does.

BR2's here. Great Primers but I will say, with these having harder cups, in matches / practice near freezing temps I would have a few "light strikes" . They went bang and landed in the groups but slightly lower velocities ( 20 FPS ). Make sure you have a good spring, pin-fall & protrusion. A Bix'n Andy Comp trigger helped also with less upward sear pressure. No issues in warmer temps.

I used CCI#200 primers. I've got about a 1k BR2's and about 2k 210Ms but I've got 5k + of the CCI#200's. Why did I use the #200's? In my 300PRC when I tested them vs the 210M's I was using my SD's got cut in half. Dave in the shop told me to give them a try as he found the same thing with his 300WM.

So I used the #200's.

Is anyone sorting primers by weight anymore?

Great info. Thanks for the replies. I usually use 210M, so I will start there and do my testing. Then will compare the BR2 etc. when I get a load that works.
