It's essentially an 88 grain ELD match that they didn't fill to the tip with lead so it only weighs 62 grain. Bearing surface is that of the 88gr so 8 twist or faster is required![]()
So my. 223 7tw Urbanrifleman Wilson barrel chambered with the ISSF reamer should shoot these accurately? Considering I do my part un load development and shooting....
You may be right, I'm just saying what "they said" at the 6:30 min markIt's really more like a 75 ELDM in shape. Pretty much identical ish.
Ok thanks good information will try in my Tikka 223 SV has a 8 twist .They perform great in my 22XC with an 8 twist. Makes a mess out of
p-dogs.

quite a difference in length should be good in 8 twistCorrect, 1.050 +/- “ in length. The 75 Eldm is 1.135” ish and the 80 Eldm is another .040 or so longer than that. An 8 twist will shoot them and a true 9 twist at elevation can most likely sneak by. May not realize full ballistic potential though.
I got to go find a couple volunteer rockchucks to help me test expansion…. Soon Grasshopper, soon !
Maybe. Only way to know would be to try a few. Maybe someone could loan you a few. I am still waiting on mine so I can't help you out. Good luck and keep us posted.curious if the 62 grain eld-vt will stabilize in a 22-250 1-9 twsit 26 inch barrel
I shot them at >3300fps out of a 9 twist 223AI, they didn't keyhole but groups were 4-5MOA. I know some people have gotten them to stabilize in a 9 twist at much higher speeds.curious if the 62 grain eld-vt will stabilize in a 22-250 1-9 twsit 26 inch barrel
