300 SAUM Imp

Thanks. I do want to explore a lower node. Am thinking may have started too high with my initial ladder test and only discernible node was around 2900-2020. At any rate my initial ladder started with MV of 2793 but that charge was jumping all around.
This load would probably be between 2800-2850 in a 30-32" barrel

My 204.5, federal 210m, h4350 at 58.9 for a velocity of right at 2900 is where I ended up settling. I had my phone take a fall and lost all my previous pictures....but here's some of the better groups I've shot at the 1,000 yard matches so far since settling on this load.

I've been keeping the seating at 3.347" to my comparator since March. In that time I've noted an advancement of .004" on my "touch" number. Today I set out to see if it wanted chased or left alone....it seems I'll chase it, but not a full value.

Let me take this opportunity to report on my thoughts about the ADG brass so far. First off all, I've NEVER sorted any of it. Secondly, it has held tune from the fireform + 1 cycle through the +8 cycle. Third, I have NEVER annealed it, and it has NEVER gave a different seating pressure on any cycle. So far so good, and it's going strong still at 8 reloads. The brass is dimensionally different, and is strong with a generous amount of solid web, and does require some retooling on chamber and die specs.

Well, I ordered my 300 SAUM Imp reamer today. There isn't a lot of future in my too-tight 300 WSM reamer........
