Yes they’re better, but mostly because the Black Hole bullets are in production and the 50 grain Berger is long-discontinued.Are the black hole bullets better than the Berber’s? In the 50gr category
What’s been your barrel life?I've shot couple different 55's its pretty hard to beat the Berger 55's at distance in a 20BRAI or BR variant.
I've only got about 200 rounds down mine. What’s been your barrel life?
Not worth the extra money…..I've only got about 200 rounds down mine.
I would seriously consider a Bartlien Mod400 steel barrel though
What won’t you do again?I'm using a Curtis Vector with an AW mag. I installed an HRD mag kit and tuned the feedlips, lots of trial and error. This coyote season I maybe had one or two hiccups but more user error than anything. Have to commit to running the bolt aggressively.
I likely wouldn't do it again. For a fur harvesting rig I'm not sold on the Berger 55gr bullets.
On coyotes?Bullets sometimes pencil through, not really forgiving on raking shots.
What ranges? And velocities ? Where you having difficulty.Wouldn't build a 20BRA to shoot the Berger 55gr bullets for a fur harvesting rig.
Bullets sometimes pencil through, not really forgiving on raking shots. Taking care of feeding issues.
Ive found the BIB 40gr bullet to be potentially more forgiving and a better fur harvesting bullet for my all around shooting conditions. Also wouldnt need a 6BR parent case to drive them and screw around with feeding. A 20 Tac, Practical, or a 20/223 AI.

I haven’t… other than 850yds…still fine on steel there, haven’t checked paper targets..Gabe,
Have you shot farther and seeing how the bullet performs at longer distance
