Till 2012, F-Class wasn't even recognized at Perry. At least the NRA is recognizing us, even if it's not your perfect ideal of how it should be. I was never suggesting that they make the NRA National Championship and FCNC one and the same..I was simply commenting that apparently things have changed at Perry, and they are we'll run matches. Yes, there was some confusion regarding having to shoot team for your total agg, but it was posted on here, this forum, that info wasn't correct, along with a contact(Mid) to verify. All it took was an email to verify..really easy to do... As in all first, it will not be perfect the first time around. Give them a chance ...now that F-Class has taken a life of its own, I'd venture the NRA will work with us in every way.
Laura - Regarding doing away with 600 yards at the FCNC...I'm still not so sure that the NRA did anything more than listen to one or two self serving people in making their decision..
If the FCNC is moved to Perry, I would take a wild guess and say that they will stay with current format since it will still be the FCNC.
I couldn't agree more regarding the seeding of the relays, etc. I watched a championship won by a shooter who was shooting on a different relay than he should have been...ie..not with the leaders on the final day. If your going to run a match, seeding the shooters according to their scores is the ONLY way to be fair in my opinion.
I'm referring to the Midrange now, what this thread was about to begin with..Your right in that there weren't many F-Classers this past year due to the FCNC and world being so close together, but even shooting with the HP guys, everything was run smoothly. I hope this year will be completely different and host a full field. It will be five full days of shooting, 60 rounds per day..plenty of shooting for most people...and all but one day(rain delay), we were done and I was drinking a cold one in my room long before dark..Considering the prize table from last year, I'd bet there will be a lot more shooters this year, and see how things run then.
