Mid-Range National Championships @ Camp Perry

Attention All Camp Perry Mid-Range Competitors (F-Class & Sling Shooters):

I know that everyone is getting their bullet counts squared away in preparation for the Mid-Range National Championships at Camp Perry, so please be advised that the Official Program contains a typo that you need to know about.

The Official Program currently indicates that we are allowed only two (2) sighters at 300 yards in the individual matches - this is INCORRECT.

I am told that a Match Director's Bulletin will be published in which UNLIMITED SIGHTERS will be allowed at 300 yards so that those of us who clean rifles at night will have the ability to adequately foul our barrels the next morning. But please note, the time will NOT be enlarged and will remain as published.

My friends and I are still one shooter short for it .

Probably not - Traditionally, you only get 2 sighters in team matches.

However, the Mid-Range Team Match is the first Mid-Range event and will be held on July 25th - if you arrive while the ranges are in operation on July 24th, you will be able to use the "sight-in/function range" which is in operation whenever the other ranges are operating.

Note also, that the Official Program currently sets the deadline for "buying" team entries is currently 2 pm on Thursday the 24th - ranges should be operating at that time, including the "function/sight-in range".

I have asked about that 2 pm deadline and will pass along any changes that might occur as far as that time is concerned.
