You object to using electrons and then you defend Tesla by misrepresenting anyone justifying the attacks on Tesla in the name of the First Amendment. Washington is a State, just like any other state, but I guess you can refer to it however you wish, but it's just another State. On the side of the state I live on you are inclined to find like minded individuals. On the west side of the state they are vandalizing Tesla's and assaulting their owners in the name of the 1st amendment all the while supporting elimination of the 2nd amendment. They don't call it the peoples republic of Washington for nothing. This state has turned into a dictatorship.
I don't object to using electrons. Quite the contrary. I use a lot of them but then my cost per kwh is about the lowest in the nation at ~7 cents and I know where they come from. It's 25+ cents in places like California and maybe more in New York and Chicago. What I object to is those who are ignorant of where those "magic" electrons come from and hold the belief that it is the most environmentally friendly form of energy. The people who believe that have been sniffing far too many unicorn farts. You object to using electrons and then you defend Tesla by misrepresenting anyone justifying the attacks on Tesla in the name of the First Amendment. Typically, electricity is more environmentally friendly than other common forms of energy. A great deal comes from hydro along with, wind and solar. Since the US has an electric grid, it almost impossible to say exactly where the energy comes from. Once it in the grid, it's generic.I don't object to using electrons. Quite the contrary. And, I do not defend people protesting Tesla. They are bat shit crazy. One of them ran over a counter protester with his car. He is now in jail. Some is going to get killed eventually. I'd like these dipshits tazered to the point that they evacuate their bowels.
Not sure how you could have read what you believe to have read into what I wrote. Is this a case of projection?

You need to watch more leftist news. Being retired I watch both the left and the right because I think it is important to understand what the current crop of lies are. The left is up in arms over arrests of "peaceful" protesters exercising their first amendment rights at Tesla dealerships and in the vandalism of personal property. Very much the same line as when they were pimping the "peaceful" protests that happened the summer of BLM. As cities were burning in the background.I didn't say you defended people protesting Tesla, I said, " You defend TESLA by misrepresenting anyone justifying the attacks on Tesla in the name of the First Amendment.." People vandalizing TESLA'S do not justify their actions using the First Amendment. People vandalizing TESLA'S are doing it to protest, for the most part, the owner and has nothing to do with the Constitution.
You obviously are paying attention where the electricity in your area originates which makes you more knowledgeable about your surroundings than me. I applaud you for caring.Where I live most of the electricity is generated via hydro but some is generated via natural gas (the Hermiston Generating Plant or HGP) and coal (the Montana Coal Strip). This in spite of having massive windmill farms. They do not produce in volume or at a price people are willing to pay. If you think that hydro has less environmental impact then you have not been talking to the tribes. They are lobbying for breaching of the dams. As far as not knowing where it comes from, you should tell that to California. They buy if from the BPA (Bonneville Power Administration) in Washington/Oregon. If they dammed their own rivers or built gas fired plants or built coal fired plants or built nuclear generation plants they would not need to power generated in the northwest. They are a large state and have plenty of resources but they pose as environmentally friendly while soiling other states.

How do you know if the firebomber was a Righty or Lefty? There are a lot of people unhappy with the Owner of TESLA. There are also a lot of unhappy and disappointed owners of TESLA trucks too.The POS lefty that threw a fire bomb on a Tesla and caught himself on fire???![]()

When the protesters are caught with the smoking gun "keying someone's private car" are found beat half to death next to a damaged Tesla, things WILL change real quick!!

It is way worse than 25 cents/kWh here in CA, only Hawaii is higher;I don't object to using electrons. Quite the contrary. Have you watched the interviews of protesters around the country? None of them have ever looked at the doge site to see what kind of waste, fraud and abuse is being surfaced. That'd be called willful ignorance which rapidly crosses over into stupidity. The people are all about the violence. Did you seen them smashing toy cars with hammers and cheering the violence against dealerships and individual owners? It's not an act with these people, they are the idiot foot solders of the left. I guess Napoleon was right, every army needs its canon fodder. You obviously are paying attention where the electricity in your area originates which makes you more knowledgeable about your surroundings than me. There have been very few people arrested due to the TESLA protests generally. The arrests have mostly been due to vandalism, not protests.
I would like to know who, regardless of philosophy, advocates or supports vandalism of Tesla or personal property, not me? There may be some in your neck of the woods, but I have never seen or heard that where I am.
Like it or not, the peaceful BLM protests were legal, any vandalism was not.
Oh man. It would be very interesting to follow the money. Whose pockets is it going into? That'd be the question that needs to be answered.It is way worse than 25 cents/kWh here in CA, only Hawaii is higher;
The average residential electric rate for Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) customers is 45 cents per kWh, but the cost per kWh ranges from 34 to 72 cents depending on the rate schedule, season, and time of day.
You probably never saw a peaceful BLM protest because of where you looked. Did you ever look into or care why they took place? Probably the only peaceful protest you've seen took place on Jan 6.Have you watched the interviews of protesters around the country? I never did see a peaceful BLM protest. I saw cities burning every night on the news. Most of that was in their own neighborhoods. I saw the killing of cops because even the politicians were advocating for "defund the police". I saw the leader of the BLM movement become obscenely wealthy and purchase mansions all over the US. The whole thing was funded by guilt ridden white people with more money than brains.
I believe George Soros is the name you can’t think of.You probably never saw a peaceful BLM protest because of where you looked. Did you ever look into or care why they took place? Probably the only peaceful protest you've seen took place on Jan 6.
Who is the leader of BLM movement that has mansions all over the US?
Who are these guilt ridden white people with more money than brains that funded BLM? For the most part the BLM movement didn't need much funding, they were scared to death of what was happening to them, and it wasn't supposed to in America.
Understanding goes a long ways.
I know exactly why it occurred. It occurred because everyone on the left is a victim and they all want reparations regardless of the color of their skin or which one of the 64 genders they claim to be today. The entire left is caught up in identity politics and victimhood. Sad state of existence and it was true even during the last administration. What has changed is that the majority don't care anymore. You probably never saw a peaceful BLM protest because of where you looked. Did you ever look into or care why they took place? Probably the only peaceful protest you've seen took place on Jan 6.
Patrice for one, Alicia for another, Melina for yet another:Who is the leader of BLM movement that has mansions all over the US?
Your are bullshitting yourself. These people had no money. They do now. Have you received a thank you for your contribution? Kind of like Berney Sanders. He owns three homes. Do you know how many his constituents own? Hint: it's a round number. As in 0.Who are these guilt ridden white people with more money than brains that funded BLM? For the most part the BLM movement didn't need much funding, they were scared to death of what was happening to them, and it wasn't supposed to in America.

Electric cars were largely political. Now that those who advocated for them are trading them for Lincoln Navigators... Ok, same same.We best not bring up this political crap or this electric car thread will be gone. I have learned a lot from it.
