On the side of the state I live on you are inclined to find like minded individuals. On the west side of the state they are vandalizing Tesla's and assaulting their owners in the name of the 1st amendment all the while supporting elimination of the 2nd amendment. I don't object to using electrons. Quite the contrary. I use a lot of them but then my cost per kwh is about the lowest in the nation at ~7 cents and I know where they come from. It's 25+ cents in places like California and maybe more in New York and Chicago. What I object to is those who are ignorant of where those "magic" electrons come from and hold the belief that it is the most environmentally friendly form of energy. The people who believe that have been sniffing far too many unicorn farts.

And, I do not defend people protesting Tesla. They are bat shit crazy. One of them ran over a counter protester with his car. He is now in jail. Some is going to get killed eventually. I'd like these dipshits tazered to the point that they evacuate their bowels.

This in spite of having massive windmill farms. They do not produce in volume or at a price people are willing to pay. If you think that hydro has less environmental impact then you have not been talking to the tribes. They are lobbying for breaching of the dams. As far as not knowing where it comes from, you should tell that to California. They buy if from the BPA (Bonneville Power Administration) in Washington/Oregon. If they dammed their own rivers or built gas fired plants or built coal fired plants or built nuclear generation plants they would not need to power generated in the northwest. They are a large state and have plenty of resources but they pose as environmentally friendly while soiling other states.

The left is up in arms over arrests of "peaceful" protesters exercising their first amendment rights at Tesla dealerships and in the vandalism of personal property. Very much the same line as when they were pimping the "peaceful" protests that happened the summer of BLM. As cities were burning in the background.

There have been very few people arrested due to the TESLA protests generally. The arrests have mostly been due to vandalism, not protests.

The average residential electric rate for Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) customers is 45 cents per kWh, but the cost per kWh ranges from 34 to 72 cents depending on the rate schedule, season, and time of day.

On Jan 6, there was no destruction of property. no attacking of police stations, no fire bombing and the only person killed was a tourist who happened to also be a veteran.
