Kipplaufs Anyone?

Anyone here shoot a Kipplauf? I've been looking into the various break-open single-shot rifle models available from Blaser, Krieghoff, Merkel, Sabatti, FA.I.R., Luxus, etc. They look like an attractive compact and light hunting rifle option.

If anyone has experience with one of these, it would be great to hear your impressions.

Had a TCR 83 with dbl set triggers in 30-06. A delight between the hands, light on the carry, and pointed like a wand. Brutal recoil though given the weight. Long story short - went back to Ruger #1s. The Luxus does look very temping though.
