Fired up the lathe and wondered what that rattling vibration was. Here's the answer - when you leave a cleaning rod in the muzzle and run it at 1000 RPM, it tends to flip it around and bend it! Now you're asking, "What the heck was he doing with the rod in there in the first place?". This is for my Palma gun and was throated for 185s, so I'm shortening the breech and rechambering for 155s. I had run in a Stony Point gauge to see how much I needed to cut off and had to knock the bullet out. If I drank, this would be an appropriate time!
