What's the dumbest thing you've done today?

Fired up the lathe and wondered what that rattling vibration was. Here's the answer - when you leave a cleaning rod in the muzzle and run it at 1000 RPM, it tends to flip it around and bend it! Now you're asking, "What the heck was he doing with the rod in there in the first place?". This is for my Palma gun and was throated for 185s, so I'm shortening the breech and rechambering for 155s. I had run in a Stony Point gauge to see how much I needed to cut off and had to knock the bullet out. If I drank, this would be an appropriate time!

Now you have a spare Dewey handle

Just finished loading my shot Dasher cases. I FORGOT a step. I always(until today) run them through my Giraud and brush the necks before primer, powder and bullets. I guess I will find out if that is a necessary step.

Definitely get out ofr bed. It was -27F here. And I left My Asian Sweetie all snug as a bug in a rug. Stupid Me.

I almost broke the cardinal rule I was warned about years ago. Lucky for me for sure today.
Never pass by a bathroom when out, and the other one……….never trust a fart. The Birria tacos yesterday, well ya know what I mean.

Bend it back straight and sell it in an auction.
Then some poor dummy will see the red handle and pee himself trying to bid on it.
Then he too, will have a "dumbest thing" to post about.
The circle is complete.
I wouldn't do that to someone, but I've bent Ford twin-I beam axles and trailer axles to correct alignment, so this wasn't a big deal!
