fedx& ups are going to merge. the new name will be FEDUP. i hope
True for FedEx Ground Drivers - NOT for FedEx Express. It is my understanding that the FEDX drivers are 'contract employees' they are not traditionally hired and paid by the hour.
They will also be merging into 1 "unit" or name or whatever you want to call it. Come this summer I believe. Not sure how they'll consolidate. Haven't read too much into it.True for FedEx Ground Drivers - NOT for FedEx Express.
I'd wander what anyone was doing in mcd,,,, that's what's scary, someone questioning anything besides why there in such a poison center?I was standing in line behind a FedEx guy at the local Mcd today and it took him 20 minutes to make up his mind what to order. Lol- that tells you all a person needs to know about fedex.![]()
That is the seller, not the shipper. I have gotten packages from 2 different deliverer on the same day from Amazon, one around 9 am, one around 5pm. I have seen no less than 5 different amazon delivered in my neighborhood on the same day before, most looked like Crack heads in rental vans!I am hoping that one day Amazon will ship for the public. Fedx will be gone in a week, UPS may last the year. I bought a tube for the front of my motorcycle on Amazon, ordered it after dark had it before lunch the next day.
Imagine that! All shippers do this day in and day out all year long. Of course, they are going to make mistakes! The company, FEDEX, owns nothing except the name and the software. They sell the routes off to the highest bidder.
The route owners have to provide the trucks and the maintenance of those trucks.
The route owners then have to hire and pay the route drivers. (and you all know the labor shortage which is crippling the U.S.) Often the route owners simply find a body to drive the truck and hand off the packages. Quality is can they walk a straight line, speak cogently and have a valid driver's license.
The problem of employees is just as bad in the sorting centers and everything has to go through Memphis, their primary and World hub.
At FedEx's Memphis hub, sorting 1.5 million packages (pictures)
Every night, the shipping giant processes 1.5 million packages through its World Hub.

a local gun shop owner told me fedex left some guns outside the back door when they were closed. If you are going to ship something I would not use Fedex at all. I had to return a piece of equipment for warranty and the manufacture sent a pre paid Fedex return label and setup a pickup date.
They never showed up on the pickup date and after spending 2 hours on the phone they said their dispatcher rescheduled the pickup for another day. That day came and they never showed up again so I drove 40 miles to a fedex location and dropped it off.
The guy working scanned the barcode and gave me a receipt. It went out and I thought it was good. Well it turns out they put something on top the box which it clearly stated do not stack anything on top and it must have rubbed the barcode so they could not scan it. The address was fine.
Well in their wisdom they put a new label on it and shipped it back to me today so now I have to start all over. So I called them and just spent another hour on the phone.
I said I delivered in the 90's with no GPS or tablet and if you can see the address you can't deliver it Or call me since my phone number is on the shipping label? I would avoid at all costs.
