RCBS Bench Primer w Holland Upgrade vs Primal Rights $600.00 Tool

If you ever reamed one youd see just how inconsistent they are in reality. Once you ream them you use the same tool to clean them. And when you do that youll see how on every firing they change even more
 
I have full confidence in the Sinclair pocket tool and K&M seater, so that's as far as I'm going to take the process.
 
I am a competitive F-Class shooter and I have the RCBS with the Holland and have got it to be consistent. I bought RCBS bench seater years ago and purchased the Holland upgrade around the time the Primal Rights unit came out. It took a while but now I can seat my primers to between -.0062”,-.0048” with the mean at -.005”. I get roughly 60% at -.005”(+-.0002”) and I accept anything between my limits. I’m measuring depth with the Holland supplied depth measuring dial indicator. It’s trial and error to get the Holland depth adjustment ‘dial’ (mounted on the replacement lever) to the proper position to get the majority of the primers to one’s predetermined depth but it can be done. .005” seems to be the right crush feel on those that I can feel it. Anything greater than -.0062” goes in the “Sighters” box. Anything less than .0048” can be re-crushed to achieve .005”.
My procedure is to seat 10 and measure each one to determine if I need to recrush or reject. I rarely get any over -.008”. I do measure p pocket depth in the brass prep stage to determine if I need to uniform them before seating.

I have the CPS.
I have not used the RCBS.
The smoothness is impeccable.
It Is not a cam action, so the force you feel is linear, and much easier to gauge.
I use the adjustment to ensure that I have no crush.
You can adjust it to be either left hand or right hand.
It helps me immensely with my arthritis.
Since receiving it, I have not used my other primer tools (4) at all.
Three years ago, I'd have said that you gotta be nuts to buy one, now I am a believer in its worth.

I now wonder how consistent this is. Yesterday I was deburring the inside of the flash hole on some W-W 25-35 brass, hardly match grade brass, using the Redding tool with pilot and I noticed a difference in space between the case mouth and the pilot. Brass was trimmed. The Redding tool has a built-in stop I use the pilot as a guide.
You could probably measure this using the deburring tool as a gauge to measure inside the case, measure the primer pocket, overall case length, etc.

Well, 4 pages on primer seating,but nobody has said if they have noticed a difference on the target.
