Great thread Glenn. Alex built me a new F-Class rifle in 300 SAUM Imp. Here’s what I’ve come up with so far. I’ve only tried H4350 and the 215 Hybrid but will experiment with a couple other combos some day.

I never tried them in the lands. They looked the best at 5 off and 20 off. I’ll probably stick with them around 5 off.

Looks good @TZaun and I think she's happy with the bullet/primer/powder/tension/seating combo as well. You've got nice groups off the node, that's saying she's happy. Thanks for sharing.

204.7 on Sierra jacket. I went back to fed 210 with 4350 and I think it looks a bit happier.

@Jet I’m at .0035” clearance on a loaded neck. Thinking the reamer was a .342” neck??? I can check tonight when I get home if you need to know that for sure. I was going to sell my old F-Class rifle but now I’m thinking about using that action to build a HG in this cartridge too. I’d like to crossover with this rifle but the torque on the 3” stock is more than I’m used to. From what little I know about BR I wouldn’t be able to run the shots very fast. My crosshairs now kinda look I drove off the road and hit an approach.

I'd say the recoil is not hurting your groups too bad. I think you may find that thing is grouping a little better than average.

I had 3 out there today. Tomorrow just the big 300 bullet shredder thing! It's all I had energy to load for, and finish cleaning the barrel. My range spot is right about 3,400 feet, and town is 3,000. Have to have ol' Roy make me more of the baby 30s before proceeding on this one.

I do. Have not shot them side by side. Ran the 7 SAUM Imp for a couple years in F-Class with 184 Hybrids around 2875 fps. It could shoot pretty good. I just started with the 300 so I don’t know much about it. Out of the gates I’m impressed. The range I shoot at the most is pretty tough. If anybody can turn a .3 MOA gun into a 3 MOA gun, it’s yours truly.
