Vudoo V22S SS BR/F Class Action

Shilen will make you a 10 twist barrel. Like I said though I don’t see the gain in it. Perhaps when the solids are more prevalent but not with standard 22 ammo
I have a vudoo single shot on order and I am excited. I just hope the extractor cuts are a bit different on these new single shot than they are on the repeater actions. Any info in this regard? with the repeaters I have chambered for my customers you dam near have to cut into the chamber. You don’t of course but it’s close. To close lol. Makes your butt pucker ! You gotta just trust your math !
I am gonna build an fclass rifle with my vudoo single shot. Parts are here and I’m excited! Lee Gardner Precision!

Lee,
As long as you're cutting a one inch radius (.024" above centerline) with the center of the tool .440" off the breech in X and stop the cutter 1.010" off the centerline in Y, you'll never venture into the chamber. Very simple....but this is the feature more than a few have messed up and then blame the action when they can't extract.

The V-22S extractors are rolled up 18 degrees and the location/geometry is the same as the repeater.

Mike, I just spoke with Jill a little while ago. She had the info I was looking for emailed to me in a matter of minutes. You have a top notch team. It was the same when I ordered my first vudoo 2 years ago. I would encourage anyone that has a question to call VGW.

That's awesome to hear and thank you very much, reach out anytime if you need anything....I'm checking in more on this forum these days.

Ok, here's a bit of data from the first V-22S Factory Hot Rod. I carried the barreled action to KY and Jamie knocked out a stock in record time and then, off to Ivan's test tunnel. Tuner on, a bit of dialing to see what it wanted, shot a few rounds from a couple different boxes of Eley Black Box and shot my first ever BR card.

V-22S Single Shot Action
Mueller Barrel (yes, this is one of the four I slugged early on and after a wee bit of finish lapping, I'm likin' it)
Pro-X Tuner
Vudoo/Flavio VS-BR Trigger with Vertical Fire Control
BBRS Custom Stock

I know a few guys have thrown around the question, "yeah, but is it going to be competitive?" Well, I do believe so....

Thank you Ivan Wells and Jamie Burgess for an incredible amount of work in a really short amount of time. You guys have impressed me time and again and I appreciate the hard work.

Thanks Lee. The approach to the action and the rifle has been incredibly methodical, so I think you’ll like what you see when you get it.

Mike, will the above mentioned be assembling the FHR rifles for Vudoo or is this just part of the development of the platform. Is this rifle representative of what Vudoo will be offering?
I only ask as it looks & shoots better many of the customs out there & can see where there could be some bitching about what is able to shoot in the class giving the pedigree of this particular rifle.

Keith, I did the barreled action on this rifle and the stock-work and setup, tuning, etc., were done by Jamie and Ivan. What was put into this rifle goes quite a ways further than what's done for true factory rifles. For ARA, I'm planning to shoot this rifle in Unlimited in St. Louis. Based on the rules for BP150, I can shoot it in the Factory Hot Rod class.

Mike, I thought that was most likely the case. It looks like all yours & the others efforts are paying off. Hope you have a good showing in St. Louis!
I'm really interested in the factory offerings as in trying to get new shooters involved up here in ME, I think just the term custom tends to turn them off. I'm hoping the new platform may be something they may consider. As you know, most up here in the NE are tighter than 2 coats of paint!!
Have you got a few stocks in mind for the factory offering?

Thanks Keith, we're pretty serious about how this goes forward and what it all means to those that want to get into the sport. From the factory, we're using the McMillan KESTROS stock with great results.

Nice to know you're in ME. The fam and I just drove up to Kennebunk earlier this week to pick up new mountain bikes at Gorham Bike.

Got the call from Vudoo today saying pick a length because both barrels slugged great(kreiger)I went with 26”s

Hello Guy's, I was shooting my Vudoo Repeater with a single-shot adapter and a "great" lot of Midas Plus this weekend at the GA State & Black Hawk Open match when I shot that target. It was really a great, fun and competitive match.

Doc, I really enjoyed meeting and talking with you at the match. I hope our paths cross again soon at the range.

Now lets get back on topic - The Vudoo SS and when we will have them. I hope very soon, I just hope my new Vudoo SS shoots as good as my repeaters do! LOL

Take care, Shane
